Received only 1 section of fishing rod instead of 2 sections.guide ring is missing.

First day out using it, I caught a 9+ lbs Blackfish( Tautog ) with no problem. I loved the feel and sensitivity of the pole tip. Love it

So first off the only issue was that the rods top part would not seat all the way into the front grip where the two sections should join. It was about an inch shy of seating all the into the feral. so I've got a return on this one and ordered a replacement. I've been trying to find a good short medium to heavy action jigging stick. I love this rod! It's got plenty of guides and good ones it seems and stiff enough at the bottom to handle I'd say a 40lb or maybe even heavier bottom fish. But the tip is sensitive and will handle a light jig maybe 3/4 to 1 ounce with no feel issues. I'm going to take this with me to Costa Rica for a kayak rod. 5 stars if this one wasn't defective. Perfect!

First one I ordered olny the top half cake and looked ran over damaged before packaging Second one came w too and bottom but was also damaged the rod it’s self seems pretty nice might try one more time

It was perfect for my intended use of it. I matched it with a Piscifun Chaos XS40 reel with a power handle and 28lb braided line. I took the combo out on a 10hr bottom fishing trip 20 miles offshore. I caught several fish on it but since we were getting into some big gag grouper I put the combo up after awhile and started using a heavier combo. Even with that heavier combo though I still couldn't get some of the grouper up. Anyway, this Entensport short conventional rod is a steal at $39.99.
