I don't have a macbook, but since this docking station uses a USB C interface, I could still plug it into my desktop computer. It's nice to have the expanded IO right on my desk and the integrated SD/Micro SD card reader is a nice feature!

Great performance, charging is fast and decent price.

This is a powerful docking station but it can be a bit intimidating to set up. I can't seem to use just 2 monitors on it when I have my laptop attached to two. I have to keep the laptop open when hooked up to two monitors. I find this annoying. However I have been able to bypass this by connecting the laptop to my charging cable that is set up through another docking station. So overall, this is not quite as easy to use as I would like. Still works well though. I also was not able to get it to work with my HP, but I didn't try all the configurations that other have cited in the comments.

This docking station is a great buy. Supports 2 HDMI and 1 VGA Port for monitors from the docking station, in addition to the laptop screen if you want to use that as a 4th. Also has 5 USB-A ports (3 2.0 and 2 3.0), an ethernet port, sd card slot and a micro sd card slot, and 3 USB-C ports for data and 1 more for the docking station for power. Keep in mind limitations of some operating systems when wanting to use 4 monitors at once (including a laptop screen). This allows for almost all your devices connected to one docking station. If you need more I would only suggest a powered USB-A 3.0 hub connected to the USB-A 3.0 port with multiple ports on that, that will add many more USB ports but not take away from the use of a docking station connecting everything still with the connection of 1 USB-C cable into the laptop. Wonderful product, would definitely recommend.

Firstly, if you do not have a thunderbolt (or USB-C/USB-4 output port from your PC or device that you want to use this with, but you do have a USB-C port, then it's still compatible as you may use the included power adapter to provide enough for simultaneously connected devices.I've run DisplayPort to my HDMI monitor, had an eithernet connection, and many USB adapters/chargers for a couple months now and I haven't had one issue. Every port works perfectly. I can transfer files between several devices at the same time without my system bogging down, it's just much nicer to have the freedom of a laptop with a docking station for a desktop at home, the office, etc.The build quality is holding up so far and it definitely looks and feels very well crafted--it has asurprising bit of weight to it, but that's not an issue for me whatsoever.
