Replaced WPF-34B original t-stat on a small kenmore chest deep freeze.
I had to make a few modifications to the t-stat. The mounting holes come threaded. I had to drill them out so screws would pass through steel and thread into plastic. The ground and both electrical spade terminals had to be thinned down. My spad terminals were the narrow variety. I used a Dremel with abrasive disc. I cut spads down to .190" wide. Filed corners smooth. Worked great. Push on terminals were snug tight fit!! The sensing bulb was (35") or so compared to (26") original. I had to curl left over on ceiling of compressor compartment. No problem. The last mod was a mounting change. The t-stat had to be flipped over 180 deg so markings on dial matched operation of t-stat. I found the t-stat mid range or at 1/2 way set point cut out was +10 deg, at 3/4 setting cut out was +2 deg. And at nearly max set point cut out was -21.8 deg. No internal adjustments needed for deep freeze application. Now how long will it last.....that's to be seen.

Saved a 7 cu ft chest freezer.
This was a perfect replacement for the temperature control on a GE 7 cuft chest freezer. I thought maybe it was a bad compressor but took a chance and purchased this thinking I would risk a few bucks just in case the controller was the problem. Turns out my risk paid off. Was an exact match and the freezer maintains a steady 5F.

Great price works as advertised would buy it again!
I have a small GE refrigerator that I bought about 20 years ago used it for three years and then stored it in my shed got it out to use it again and it runs fine but would not turn off when it reaches temperature just kept getting colder and colder and turned into a freezer I bought this unit and installed it and it works perfectly the fridge works like a new one again I'm so glad I found this one I saved a lot of money I would recommend it to anybody who has a fridge that needs a new thermostat. Don't worry about the 220 voltage rating at works on 110 as well.

Further adjustments for refrigerator use , see Steve's instructions
I followed "Steve's" advice to tighten the adjustment screw, and it worked. Pay attention to adjust the correct screw, there's another. I tested with a minimum / maximum thermometer and found that when turn of is at 33F, turn on at 49F. I disassembled the old thermostat and found that the second adjustment screw adjusts the points opening gap and that the smaller the gap, the closer the turn on temperature is to the turn off temperature. But the gap has to be large enough to work, so it could reduce points life. I tightened the screw in the grey plastic section 1.75 turns clockwise and the turn on temperature dropped to 40F, 7F higher than turn off, I was satisfied and didn't push it any further. If your supply voltage is 220V, you may need a larger points gap than 110Volt.

It works..
This has worked very well for my moms haier mini fridge that went out. I bought this for under 15 bucks, it's a easy install.. The only thing is the rods longer than expected No worries though just roll it up a couple times and Presto. Would recommend grabbing this if the thermostat is whats expected thats bad b4 spending money on new one...
