ROYAL KASITE Preseasoned Cast Iron Pizza Pan,14.8-Inch

First off I only had this pan for a short time and I am already finding excuses to use it every time i do cook. I so far used it exclusively on my wood pellet burning smoker/grill and I love it. What was important to me was how big the cooking area was so if that's your concern here are the actual dimensions give or take an 1/8 inch or so: from handle to handle I measured: 18.5 inches, from edge to edge (minus the handles) 14.8 inches, actual cooking area across center of pan 13.5 inches and the depth approx. 1/2 inch. I didn't weigh it, but trust me, it's heavy. So far I cooked : sausages, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, shrimp and reheated pizza from our local pizzeria. Everything came out exceptional. I really can't wait to get a couple of ribeyes, porterhouse or T-bone steaks on it (this weekend for sure). And (of course) will try making our own, from scratch, pizza on it as well. Next to my Traeger wood pellet smoker/grill this is one of the best purchases I made for cooking. Pan came well packaged, delivered on the day promised with detailed instructions (for re-seasoning the pan and caring for it along with hints on how best to cook with it). So needless to say, I highly recommend this and for the price, quality and large size makes it a steal. And if it's true 'size matters' I inc. 2 pictures for scale.... 'buona mangiata' !

This pan has a very rough surface, I feel concerned that it would leave metal dust on the pie itself. Also, it leaks thick black liquid that looks like machine oil that took us a lot of time to clean off - if that is what they mean by "pre-seasoned", thanks, I'll pass. I am sending this product back.

This Cast Iron Pizza Pan has exceeded all my exceptions. I also use this pan as a stove top grill. As with all new Cast Iron products sold today the surface is rougher than it should be, but no company is polishing their cast any more, so I do when I purchase it.

Quality product. I'm perfecting my homemade pizza skills!

I can't get it to season enough. Pizza sticks on it. I wish I had not bought it.

This was a gift, the recipients love it, cooks a pizza to perfection.
