Leonardo da Vinci for Kids: His Life and Ideas, 21 Activities (10) (For Kids series)

Great text...but most of the activities are not particularly great. I was really disappointed. But the text alone makes it worth purchasing. Just don't expect any stellar activities.

Great book I will keep around for my grandson as he gets older and appreciates it even more. He ordered it for his birthday along with the "Aerial Screw", and Clock.It was an Amazon gift from a close relative.Semper Fi

I bought this for my grandson and my son took it. ???? (the uncle) I think we should all know Leo a little better. I will likely read some of it as well. Anyway, he likes it and it will find it's way to my grandson. After a brief review by me, I think it will well used.

Was reminded of all the things da Vinci did besides art.Happy to see the activities for kids. Enjoyed it!

This is simple book for kids to enjoy

Superb book, after reading ordered a copy for our homeschooling library. Have not done the activities, some looked worthy, but the info about Leonardo is first rate.

I don't know what age group this book is really for but seems to be a teenager type book to me

Beautiful book, with high quality glossy pages and plenty of illustrations. Easy to understand text, inviting reading. Covers Leonardo de Vinci life, and also details about the times he lived in. Great for reading and discussing with your kids... or for kids (from maybe age 10) to read by themselves. Very enjoyable for adults too!Activities suggested target more the art side of Leonardo's work, rather than his science/ technology.

Really clear history of the artist and his work. Some brilliant ideas suitable for KS2 art lessons, which will reinforce some basic techniques and enlarge their view of what an artist can be.

Super Book for my class

Great book - my grandson was absolutely delighted with it.He was ill and this really cheered him up. I would recommend it to any budding inventors/builders
