Echoes in the Canyons: The Archaeology of the Southeastern Sierra Ancha, Paperback – 18 May 2012

We were delighted when this book arrived with all its information, even a CD of images to add to what was within the book. It is well done and what anyone interested in the peoples who built these wonderful structures would want to have to add to their understanding. Beautiful book and in great condition.

The work is extremely informative and well rounded - it would be a 5-star review if access to the companion materials still existed - the CD is no longer included, and the "new" introduction directs the reader to a web link - promising access to those materials - that no longer works. Otherwise, anyone with an interest in the original inhabitants of the Sierra Ancha, how they lived their lives, and the legacy they left behind, will get many of their questions answered.

very interesting book many things I never knew

I really enjoy this book. It has volumes of information about the numerous dwellings in the Sierra Ancha wilderness area. The only reason I give it 3 Stars is because they have stopped providing the companion CD with the book. The new preface states you can find the companion CD files online, but the link no longer works. Still a great book.
