Love this watch!
I've had this watch for a couple months now and absolutely love it. The solar battery worked right out of the box, but I did put it in a sunny windowsill for a day before beginning daily wear, just in case, to "charge" the solar battery. It looks nice, fits well, and is a very high quality product. I am medium-boned and the band is plenty big for me. If fact I could easily remove a link and it would still be bracelet style. I would highly recommend it. I have had no problems with the band scratching and I'm not exactly gentle with it. One of my reasons for purchasing a Seiko is because they're water resistant and I'm a busy woman and mom who doesn't have time to fuss with things like delicate watches that can't get splashed or rained on. I need dependable, sturdy, and of course I love that it's classy!

This watch is just what I wanted in a Seiko. It's dressy, and below the list price. Very pleased.

I think the price is great for a solar watch and the watch is not bad. It actually looks cute. It may not look as fancy as in pictures, just let you know. But I think it looks right for a $100 watch. I had to return it because it doesn't have the second hand which I need to tell whether the watch is working or not. I know we can wait if the minute hand moves, but you have to wait a minute to see that, right? I know a lot watches don't have the second hand nowadays. You may like it that way. But I like the one that gives me ease of using. So I returned it.

My wife loves the look and feel of this watch. It looks like jewelry. It's works like a charm. One charge when it arrives and it will never need charging again. It is small in size but mighty in appeal. Elegant in every dimension. The stainless steel looks like silver. And the claps is the old style that works - easy to put on and take off. Love this watch.

Stopped Working
I purchased this watch in March and it the dial starting spinning around like crazy before it just stopped in August. Very frustrating since it's now not returnable!!The watch itself is pretty and dainty. There is a terrible glare on the face that makes it difficult to read in certain lighting (like bright sunlight).I purchased a different watch....with a warranty this time.

An Eye Catcher That Gets Its Power From The Sun
I've given a couple of these as gifts and the recipients have been thrilled. They had to go to the jewelers to have a couple links taken out to make the fit correct, but other than that they are totally satisfied. It's true there is no second hand, but this is more of a show watch than a tech watch so it serves its purpose. The solar charging capability makes this a great watch to own for many years without having to trot out to replace batteries.

Not easy to read in low light.
Watch is very pretty. Drawback is reading the time when the lighting is not bright. It's hard to make out the hands.
