Wow
Loved the story and the only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's a cliffhanger I feel like I've missed something . But it's a worth while read just get the next book or you might be disappointed.

WOW author has a new fan
Wow for a story that has only 124 pages, Olivia Rigal sure knows how to pack a massive punch. I found this book to read smoothly, the information regarding the past events was perfectly balanced and the steady stream of events that occurred among the pages was brilliant. The plot captured my attention right away and once I started there was no stopping till I reached the end.Lisa and David are siblings that had already lost their father. While David was doing his job with the police, Lisa was studying law and focused on her future. When word came that she needed to go deal with her brother’s death, Lisa put her life on hold. She knew going back was going to be difficult but nothing prepared her when she came face to face with Brian, the man who stole her heart years ago and left her brother and the police academy and ended up as a full fledge MC member. His eyes, that once held passion for her now was cold, full of steel and vengeance but was his heart as cold as she feared? Could he have played a part in why her brother is dead? It is clear that Brian has dark secrets that he would risk everything to protect. Could he really be long past redemption?Between the fears of the circumstance, the anger at her loss and the love that never died for Brian, Lisa will take you on an emotional journey. The author gave us plenty of suspense, drama and confusion regarding the emotions that are involved. Brian knows where he is now, he is aware of what he left behind but never did he consider a second chance. Will the gang even allow a second chance with Lisa, or will she have to give up all she has worked for in law school to be with the man who makes her heart race. This is the first book I have read from this author but it certainly won’t be the last. If you are a fan of a fast paced, complete plot with a style that keeps you on the edge of your seat and feeling as confused as to what you would do then Stone Cold is a winner. Now I can hardly wait to get the next book in the Iron Tornadoes MC Romance series.

Okay book overall
Received a copy in exchange for an honest review“Watching him touching me is overwhelming. My eyes are glued on his hands, and I forget everything. My mouth is open, but I’ve stopped breathing.”3 stars. This book was okay overall. I had a love hate relationship with Lisa, the main character. The story was good, I think the characters just left me wanting more.Lisa Mayfield returns home from law school to a dead brother and a former lover she no longer recognizes.Brian Hatcher, her brother’s best friend, dropped out of the police academy. Instead of working with Lisa’s brother to bring down organized crime, he became a full-patched member of the Iron Tornadoes, an outlaw motorcycle club, the very one that may have caused her brother’s fall.Searching for answers to how her David died, Lisa can't ignore the attraction she still feels for Brian. The chemistry is undeniable but is there anything left of the boy she once loved or has he turned into a stone cold biker? After tragedy strikes Lisa’s family, she’s forced to go home and take care of things. Her mother who can’t function and well she has to plan a funeral for her brother. While there she runs into the boy who stole her heart. Except he’s a different man now, instead of the police officer he was on his way of becoming, he’s patched into the outlaw MC Iron Tornadoes. While she tries to find out why her brother died, she’s falling for the man, she knows she shouldn’t be with. Overall I feel like this story was lacking, and I can’t put my finger on what really. It was a good story, but it was lacking in certain places**Received a copy in exchange or an honest review. Read and reviewed by Melissa for Alpha Book Club**

Left me with a lot of questions...
3.5 starsLisa is going to school in New York, pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer when she learns that her brother has been killed and returns back home to Florida to deal with the aftermath. While there, she sees Brian, her first love and sparks fly but so much has changed and Lisa doesn't know if she can allow herself to give her heart to him again.I knew this was going to be a series before I started reading it so I went in with my eyes wide open. The characters are ok, developed as well as they can be when this book is only a little over 100 pages. The stories moves at a good pace and there is plenty going on to keep you reading. I was disappointed with it being billed as an "MC Romance" that there wasn't much about the MC or much romance for that matter. My thoughts:POV: LisaQuick hook or slow starter? 5 (I was hooked from the first chapter)Character development: 3.5Level of Romance between characters: 2Passion/Heat level: 3 (there are a few scenes but they lacked the heat I have come to expect from these kinds of books)Angst/Heartbreak: 3 (sadness at the beginning with her brothers death but not much after that.)Cliffhanger?: Not really a cliffhanger but the story is by no means done.Overall, it was ok but it left me with more questions than it answered. I am not a fan of books sold this way, and at $2.99 for each portion, with only a little over 100 pages each, it didn't hook me enough to keep going.I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Nice Quick Read
Stone Cold is the first book in the Iron Tornadoes MC series. While each book covers a particular character/couple, the main story line runs through each book and so end on a cliffhanger.I will no re-hash the plot as the synopsis provides a clear outline of the storyline although as Stone Cold is told from Lisa's POV this didn't really feel like an MC read to me.What I liked about Stone Cold was that it was a quick fast paced read with an interesting story line that was full of intrigue so it kept me interest throughout. What I would have liked to see was more interaction between Lisa and Brian. I just really struggled to feel any emotional connection between them. I would have also liked Lisa to have a little more sass to her.All in all I thought this was an ok read.

Shows promise
This shows a lot of promise, it's just far too short and because of that is underdeveloped. The scenes feel rushed and the characters make leaps of faith and odd decisions. For example would someone who collapses, is sedated and hospitalized at the death of her son go out on a date just after his funeral and then marry after three weeks?Lisa is at law school and gets the terrible news that her brother has died. She rushes home and his best friend Brian is there but he's changed. The book downloaded with different fonts, paragraph spacing for different paragraphs and chapters which is rather off putting.I hovered between two and three stars and ended up with three but if the next is like this I won't be buying, even 99p is too much for this. There are better books on the market for a similar price.

Stone Cold
New author to me and way to go with thls first book in the series. I just could not put it down and read quickly from page to page. I have purchased the next one as I cannot wait to find out how bad or good our male character is. As you can tell I hate spoilers but you need to follow this author and get her into your kindle library

"Strictly for bikers"
A story with no conclusion containing caricatures of all the characters supposedly associated with a motorcycle gang. Not a very good sentence, but on a par with the book I've just read. I'm certain it will find a bunch of readers who will lap this up. I won't be hunting down the rest of the series.

Great
I'm loving the story so far I'm intrigued to find out which way it's going to go the love of Lisa's life is a biker and she knows that they killed her brother who also happens to be the love of her life best friend she not sure how or when they will be what they both want and need to be for each other Brian is a cool biker but also Lisa's one and only how can he be what she wants him to be when he can't tell her anything
