Is small, yes (read the product dimensions carefully folks) but it has the most amazing serene sound and is totally worth the price. Tuned to a pentatonic scale so it is very easy to create nice melodies with no musical knowledge.Finish is top quality too, no awkward transfers just a subtle om symbol in the centre. My daughter and I adore the sound, which as I say is best described as 'serene'. Beater is nice too but could easily be lost so be careful with it.Highly recommended. Sounds better and is better quality than some of the larger ones we have.

The drum storage of the drum in a fabric bag is good. But the drumsticks unless but into the drum bag can’t be easily stored.I keep all the components in the box it arrived in. The sound of the notes is calming. Nice alternate instrument that doesn’t take up much space.

A really nice tone to this, and a surprisingly 'full' sound, for such a small instrument, great compliment to other ethic instruments.

It doesn't make a sound when it's raining. It's rather nice when you use the drum stick but that wasn't really the point.
