LOVE THIS
I’m hoping to get faster hair growth from this , but it’s quite a nice thing to have in general. Perfect pressure, 2 speeds, simple to operate, most relaxing.

Takes getting used to but it feels nice.
Using this for the first time was different. Not good different, not bad different, but certainly WEIRD. Felt more like scratching my head than getting a massage (and there were several times I was glad my hair was cut short because the motion of the feet kept making me nervous about getting it tangled up in there). But I stuck with it for the full session and actually did feel better when I was done! Now, I've started trying out red light therapy as a form of pain relief, though for migraines green light is supposed to be the better one. Added to that, I've noticed that on the scalp red light therapy is promoted more as a way to help hair growth than as a method of pain relief. Both of these details mean that at least I, personally, don't need the red light on this thing (no bald spots and there are reasons I keep my hair cut short). At least when using it on my scalp... you can actually use this anywhere on your body you can reach that you foresee needing it, so I think I'm going to start trying it on my legs when I get home from a full shift of being on my feet all day.As others have mentioned, the fact that it's IP X7 (one step below the currently highest waterproofing rating) is great--you can use it in the shower or bath and it makes it really easy to wash without risk of getting water onto any sensitive electronics (the x in that rating referring to dust protection--or rather the lack thereof--but under the expected use case that won't be a problem unless you live in an excessively dusty area or are trying to use it at the beach). There's a second set of feet if you want to change it out based on personal preferences... I've only tried it so far with the ones that came attached by default and since the other reviews are saying the second set is harder I probably won't use them (except maybe to try them for sake of completion). And finally... decent battery life and easy charging. Depending on what settings you have turned on you might realistically expect it to last a week's worth of sessions--assuming one session per day--though given that rechargable batteries have a tendency to drain when you're NOT using them I'd also point out that I've had this thing for over a month (used it twice) and no sign of the battery dying. So if you're the type to forget to charge things you should still be good to go for a while. However, as long as you have somewhere convenient to keep it plugged in, a spare USB port that you don't need for anything else (I have too few of those even with charging hubs all over my room--need to declutter!), it's easy enough to remember to charge... it comes with a charging dock so you just need to drop the massager in that between sessions. To be honest, my only nitpick is the reason why I tend to gravitate towards "wearable" massagers instead of handheld ones--might just be a product of me being out of shape but even switching hands my arms were getting tired of moving this thing around on my head before it was ready to shut itself off.

Fun
This is a fun little item. It's good for a head scratching but I'm not sure it actually does anything for you. For anyone worried my daughter and myself both have very long hair and it didn't get tangled at all. The battery doesn't seem to last very long. Not going to lie we just got it to see what the animals will do. Two out of three really liked it. The other one is just a weird cat and you never know what she's going to like and not like.

Dog Likes This, Husband Not a Fan
I tried this on my husband first. He was not thrilled with it. He did not like the rotation motion. Then I tried it on our dog. Full disclosure - both my husband and dog have short hair. Our dog has just been groomed with his summer cut, so his hair (not fur) is short. I am not sure I would use this on the dog if his hair was longer. He was a little apprehensive when I approached him, but once he got used to the motion, he seemed okay with it.

Handy
There's nothing like a good scalp massage! I'm glad this is waterproof. I'm sure this will get a lot of use.

Excellent scalp massager, 8 massage heads (4 stiff, 4 soft), vibration, red light, variable speeds.
The media could not be loaded. This is an interesting device for sure, I found this helps with my headaches, and is nice to use in the shower, I even used it to massage shampoo into my hair, it has a red light, which is 620 ±5 nm, and it does give a very good scalp massage, the machine is well-built and includes a dock for recharging, the machine takes around 2-3 hours to fully recharge. It comes with 4 extra massage heads, which are a bit stiffer. (4 soft and 4 stiff), the feet remove and insert easily just pull them off, not only is this scalp massager great for the scalp this works anywhere you need to massage or scratch, works great on sore legs, feet, thighs, back stomach..etc, I find it very relaxing to use, however sometimes it can make you feel itchy if used in one place for too long. This machine has 6 working modes and will auto turn off after 10 minutes:Mode 1: Slow with red light (default)Mode 2: Fast with red lightMode 3: Slow and fast alternating with red lightMade 4-6 are the same as 1-3 but without the red light.Double click activates the vibration mode.Overall I recommend, Nice well-built scalp massager that can be used anywhere, includes a charging dock, extra massage heads, red light therapy, and it can even work for pets and be used in the shower.
