camping cot for backpacking

Was I actually camping?!
I used this cot along with the Big Agnes XL airpad and my Wiggy's sleeping bag, and I sincerely felt like I was sleeping on a bed. It's not super compact or light, but compact enough for those who do car camping or who are only packing a ruck for a night or two. Well worth the money. I wasn't sure it would be, but it was perfect.

Heavy, solid, less expensive version of high end ultra lite cots...nice price!
Bought this as a cheaper alternative to me regular backpacking cot when camping on the river and weight matters less. This is effectively a cheaper version of a high end ultralight cot made by Helinox which I also own.Caveats- 5’11” 170 lbs. very active outdoors, not my first rodeo, this gear has not gone through a full season yet so impressions are from one nights usePros-rugged, durable, compact (on the river I care more about volume than weight), setup is intuitive, quick and easy. Shipping was quick, on time and there was no need for returns/replacements. Everything was just as advertised.Cons- heavy, frame is more clunky than it should be, canvas with decent stitching but it’s canvas, metal in the frames was suspect and is on my watch list...I want to see how the metal handles 75+ days/season of getting unpacked, setup, broken down, packed, transported very day.If you are debating these more compact cots and are price sensitive, not a bad entry point. If you are actually going to use a cot on a backpack trip, I don’t know why you would buy this one. If you don’t mind the weight given the compact volume, check it out w me.

Great cot
I really like this cot. I am a female, approximately 5‘8“, and about 165 pounds. It is very sturdy and very comfortable. It is very lightweight and easy to use. I only do car camping, so I have no thoughts about this as a backpacking cot. It’s probably too big for that.

Impressed!
Very light, seems strong and very comfortable. Wasn’t expecting that. The only thing I would change about this product is I would put the two end braces on the very end of the cot, then space the other two accordingly, leaving the one in the middle. It seems to want to dip down, right where your head rests. Kinda the opposite of what you want.

some issues on the elastic cord but great aftersales service
*******updated as of 16 March 2021***********Excellent after sales service.customer service team following up proactively with me, and providing a satisfied solution.*******************************************definitely will recommend SMLFIT to my friend.i bought the foldable bed in early December 2020it was super comfy, and 1000 miles way better than using air mattress. However, one of the aluminum pole of the elastic cord was broke which shown as the picture last week (its was the 2nd time of using the bed).anyone can share the repair center of this seller to me please?

good tension so some effort in set up and take down
found that I could partially set it up outside the single tent and finish it inside the tent with some effort but rather nicely, Comfortable with good support. remember you will have to use some effort to flex the poles and attach. Take down will also require some effort due to the good tension of the cot. A few more times and I'll be able to increase my time and ease.

Easy to setup and comfortable
Just got it and haven't used it overnight yet. Everything came packaged and undamaged. It wasn't difficult to put together. It isn't quite as firm as my old big folding cot but I think that's a good thing. I think it's comfortable . My old cot folds in thirds and is a bit bulky to lug around. This packs up small and will be much easier to take along on road and river trips.

Great Cot
Got this cot for my daughter for an upcoming camping trip. She's not a camper but, want to go on this trip. Easy to set up and take down. I really didn't have to look at the direction to set it up. She found it very comfortable. thsi will be great for a "car camping" but, not for backpacking. It is a little heavy for a backpack but, well worth the money when camping.
