Bolted right on, a lot thicker than the original.

Beware of model year!
Not really a fault of the skid plate itself, but still a bummer. I ordered this for my 2022 Tenere 700. Even though the bikes have changed very little this dd not fit. The exhaust on the newer bikes is different.Seems like a great product, just be sure it's for your year.

Fasteners don't line up great..
The fasteners seem a little small, not sure how they will hold up when it takes a hard hit. they are the same as the stock fasteners. So... The Fasteners don't line up great, so leave them loose, get them all started then tighten them. Should be fine. Looks great.
