2 different styles included in order
The male plugs were easy to connect to the cords but the female receptacles we're a different story. Some were of a design that was easy to connect the wires too and some were of a different design and not easy to connect the wires and make sure they wouldn't pull out. I ordered a separate package of the female receptacles also and received the better design. I will not be ordering these again as the local HF store has a similar price and I can see what I get.

My biggest complaint with these is that the terminals are not identified by silver copper and green screws. Build quality is adequate, for triple the price you can get a really nice plug. The plugs separate easily as other reviewers have noted, but so far I've not noticed any connection problems electrically as a result. I typically use connection ties to hold the two ends together and that works fine for me. For outside use there appear to be drain holes in the housing… Commonsense in wet areas is a must for proper safety.Would I buy these plugs again? Yes, provided they continue to work well through use.

Just fine for around the house, basement. Decent quality for an affordable price.
For the cost they are a good deal. Would not be 1st choice for heavy gauge cable but good for what I paid. Not for critical use. good for household, basement etc.

Ok, just ok
These will be a hard pass for me in the future. They are not terrible, but for a person trying to quickly replace a plug on heavy cable, they just are not working well.Issues include;it's very difficult to line up the case with the plug. There is no channel to locate proper screw placement.The poles are not marked, so unlike most plugs where you have a silver screw to mark the neutral location, you have to think these through.The plastic is brittle, and not appropriate for low temperature, or for drops and bangs associated with a construction or heavy shop environment.And lastly, the screws have no retension so they are easily lost while trying to replace the plug in the field.I don't think they are a terrible value, but the certainly are not what I expected.
