I've had this straw hat for nearly a year. It seems to be holding up well. It's comfortable and keeps the sun off my face and neck. It's light and ventilated. Just what I wanted.

Beautiful hats arrived undamaged probably not worth $50 for a straw hat but they’re really well logo’d so you can tell they take pride in their product. I bought 3 different styles and there was variation in quality in the straw. I prefer a tight weave and one of the 3 was loose/see through. The other two were acceptable but the loose weave will wear out more quickly. Overall I like them but be more stringent on quality if he hat is $50. If I had the ability to pick in store I would not have bought. I have attached two pictures, the first being the best quality, tight weave, no holes, the second I am not happy with as you can see through it and the grass is very thin. I love the pattern though so I will keep it but it is not protective enough of UV with the holes for me in Florida.

I'd give it a 5 but it fell apart after it got wet. The top just crumbled.The hat is awesome, looks great, fits well even with a fat head.
