Springbok's 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Lake Serenity - Made in USA

I've been a fan of Springbok puzzles for years! Their puzzles are high quality and made in the USA! I get to help support US jobs and have fun doing it! Excellent!I love jigsaw puzzles and I thoroughly enjoyed working on this 1000-piece Springbok's Lake Serenity puzzle! It was both challenging and fun!The puzzle pieces were packed inside a plastic bag inside the box and the box was also wrapped in plastic. There isn't a poster of the finished puzzle so you will definitely want to keep the box lid available to consult the image as you work!Here are my thoughts and observations:Made in the USA! Perfect!I appreciate the use of recycled materials and non-toxic inks.Minimal puzzle dust!No missing pieces! (I've never experienced missing pieces with any Springbok puzzle!)No bent, broken, or peeling pieces!All pieces are consistent in thickness.Pieces are thick and sturdy, each with a unique shape!Various shapes and sizes help make this 1000-piece puzzle more challenging! I love it!The pieces are cleanly and precisely cut.Also, what appears to be an edge piece may not be! But this adds to the fun, and makes it more challenging! Just consult the image on the box cover, and keep a "maybe, maybe not" pile of questionable pieces or if you are in doubt. But don't give up! You can do it! 😉👍🏻 The edge pieces end up making a nice straight line and it's quite satisfying to see how the unique pieces fit together!Another great thing is that the fit is obvious, no wondering if you've placed a piece in the wrong location! The pieces fit and lock together without question.In summary, I really enjoyed this "Lake Serenity" puzzle and will definitely continue to purchase Springbok puzzles! I've never had an issue with missing pieces. Springbok puzzles are made in the USA, they are sturdy, the pieces have interesting shapes, and the puzzles are both fun and challenging! Perfect! And their puzzles make a wonderful gift!5 stars and recommended!

I love the design of this puzzle. The pieces are sturdy, and it's good quality. The only problem with this puzzle is that 1000 piece puzzles are kind of hard. You need a dedicated puzzle table, because it takes time to do this one. It's a great puzzle. I just got spoiled after doing the advent puzzles that are broken down into 24 separate boxes. This is a great puzzle!

This is my third Springbok puzzle and so far, they’re my favorite brand. I love the way the pieces are oddly shaped. Some are really big; others are tiny, and some have the weirdest shapes. Sometimes when working an area that doesn’t offer a lot of clues in the way of design, I put pieces together solely by shape. The pieces fit together well and it’s obvious when 2 pieces match – but it isn’t a tight fit. It’s not the sort of puzzle where you can easily flip sections over – but then, there’s no need to because there are no clues on the back.This was the most challenging puzzle of my 3 Springboks. The picture had several areas that looked somewhat similar. This was also my first Springbok with pieces missing. I’m marking down 1 star for this reason. I take some of the blame. I’m a klutz and I firmly believe at least 2 of my missing pieces will turn up a month from now. I’d be willing to take the blame for all 3 – but the weirdest thing is that there was an extra piece that didn’t fit anywhere. I can also confirm that it wasn’t a missing piece from a previous puzzle. Still, despite this little slice of weirdness going on here – working on the puzzle was incredibly relaxing and great fun. Springboks are more engaging because of their unique shapes and definitely worth trying.

Pieces are inside a sealed plastic bag, the bag inside a box, the box sealed in plastic. So if any missing it was at the factory. Says made in USA which is good thing I think. The pieces themselves look fine, well defined edges, not sloppy or especially thin or anything. I dont have lot to compare them to, dont think I have had jigsaw puzzle in my possession since 1960s or 1970s when imports lot more rare. Anyway if memory serves, these looked about like those from back then. I really cant imagine anybody makes them skimpier, but sure they do. If Chinese are good at anything, its to get that extra half penny out of cost of everything, even if it reduces life/performance of the product substantially.The price is a bit of an eye opener. I remember jigsaw puzzles being pretty inexpensive, less than $2 new. But that was a very long time ago. So all I am going to say about that. If a jigsaw puzzle is now $15 to $20, then guess thats just way it is, either worth it to you or not. There sure arent any $2 ones or even $10 ones out there that I saw. Maybe one in thrift store or yard sale with pieces missing or something.

I was gifted my first Springbok puzzle years ago. It was a Thomas Kinkade scene. I still have several, but have gifted these many times. Springbok always has quality puzzles & when I saw this one, I couldn't pass it up. Such a lovely scene & difficult enough to make me work for it. The Springbok store on Amazon always gets me in trouble. They have so many gorgeous puzzles. I have so many on my Wish List. When I opened this one, the pieces were the quality I had hoped for. These are made in Kansas City, so you're buying local in the US. I would order this again in a hearbeat, but in all likelihood, I will be order more of their puzzles soon. They are just so much fun & they also bring my family together. It's hard to walk by a puzzle & not try a few pieces. And the next thing you know, we are all gathered around talking & solving the puzzle. I love puzzles. And I love Springbok's selection & value.

We love assembling puzzles in our family, and the Springbok brand is always a favorite due to its high quality. The pieces are nice and thick and I appreciate that it's obvious when the pieces fit together (or not). The picture is really lovely, and it was fun (but not easy!) to assemble.
