Origin8Tsunami Wire Bead Fat Bike Tires, 26 x 4.0, Black/Black

I purchased a pair of the Origin8 Tsunami tires to replace much more expensive 45NRTH Husker du tires. Based solely on appearance, the Tsunamis might be a little bit smaller in diameter. Since the tires are about 4 inches around, I wouldn't consider that an issue. They ride every bit as good as the Husker dus even though they have a max inflation pressure of 20 lbs. A lot of my riding is on a bike path, so I usually keep inflation high. At 20 lbs. my average speed was the same on the Tsunami as it was on the Husker dus at 30 lbs. The Tsunamis are 30 TPI as compared to 33 TPI on the HDs, so they're really quite comparable. Admittedly, I do not have many miles on the Tsunamis. So far, I would say they seem like a very good modestly priced option.

Seems like a great quality tire, shipped very fast, reasonable price, easy to put on my bike, seems to have great grip, could tell a huge difference after riding on a bald tire for a while, I feel much more confident for winter riding with this new tire on my bike.
