It works very well. We're in a rather remote valley for TV signals in MT. I only put this up about 10', not the recommended 30'. With the included amplifier we got 11 stations, with some initial pixelating that did clear up after a few minutes on a station, for some reason. But all and all we were impressed. Anyway we happened to have a "serious" amplifier from out RV days, so I hooked it up and bam, now we get 18 stations with great picture. Very happy with it, especially with the more powerful amplifier, which cost about $20 at Walmart 10 yrs. ago. The included amp isn't very powerful, but for the price.

This antenna did not work from within our attic, despite having identifed at least seven local stations available. Further, it had ample height; located in a third floor attic and no stations were found. I mounted it in three different locations without any success. It worked when I hung it outside a window on the south side of our house. Very disappointing as it's advertised as an attic antenna. We have a standard composite shingle roof, which should not impact the antenna.Further, the male threaded portion of the amplifier is broken as it turned freely and the antenna did not function when the amplifier was connected inline. The antenna functioned without the amplifier.

For the first few weeks, I thought reception with this unit was acceptable. Not perfect, but I was pleased with it.Then came a (not 'that' fierce) Fall storm here in Michigan with wind gusts in the 40-50 mph range. That flattened mine and now it's flush with my roof and can't pick up any stations at all. (I'm 69 years old. A young friend of mine installed it - and he's since moved away).We've had storms since with higher wind gusts so this would have never survived any of those.If you live in a non-windy place (are there any?) then this 'might' work for you, but otherwise, I'd find something more sturdy.

It really works. I live in Willow Alaska about 100 miles from Anchorage and tried other antennas and got nothing. Since Amazon allows me to return products, I gave it a shot and ordered this antenna. I am getting more channels way out here than my daughter who lives in anchorage gets. I initially tried it by placing it on a chair and was shocked that I got clear channels. Once I mounted it outside I stated receiving many channels and they were all strong and clear.

The reception from this antenna is pretty solid. I live in mountainous region and get all of my local channels. I have tried at least 5 other antennas and this one is by far the best. I would have given this a 5 start but the metal mount is really flimsy and required me to fabricate a sturdier mount for the winds and weather in my area.

Bought this antenna when we bought our home (before we cleaned out our attic and made it accessible to install). I was finally able to get things organized and spent hours this weekend moving the antenna all over the place, with no success. Tried every possible location in our attic and are only getting 1/3 of the channels we got with our $20 antenna. Low quality and minimal performance.I am extremely disappointed and I would like a refund for this item...but am unable to initiate a return through Amazon due to the timeframe. I am more than happy to adjust my review if you're willing to work with me and make things right.

Had this thing 40 feet in the air. Did not receive a single channel. Missed my return window by 5 days due to installation being at a cottage that is 120 miles from home.

Works awesome and is mounted inside my attic. Serves 6 TVs.With the use of a booster. No complaints fron the kids nor the wife. We cut the cable TV after forever and no complaints from the family.I recommend this product
