Used twice then it broke
First time using it the mallet broke. I simply brought a new mallet, used it a second time and one of the posts broke. Can’t replace the post because the fabric is stapled to it.I continue to use it and just pile sand up around the broken piece.Maybe if I’m bored one day I’ll attempt an repair.

Works!
You get what you pay for. Yes it works cutting down the wind on the beach. First time we used it the mallet head fell off, cheap. No big deal, just had to glue it back on.

Good price
Works well, made ok for the price

A bit flimsy
Wasn't a fan ...don't think it would stand up in the wind ...not a good value

Doesn't seem well thought out
Constantly blows over in 25 mph winds. The rubber part of the mallet off-gases terribly and does so for months. It also falls off the stick. Putting this together, just to have it constantly blow over, with the mallet flinging apart, just have looked like something out of Monty Python. Have these manufacturers even used their own product once?

Great product for beach
I like that it gives you privacy and blocks the wind on the beach. Light weight and easy to transport.

I used it for the first time today at the beach
I went to the beach today and it was a beautiful 80 to 84 degrees with winds around 10 to 12 miles per hour. I'm not ready to rate it yet however I'm curious if it will hold up because when it is a little windy out it will make of course some flapping noises and the material seems rather thin so I'm not sure yet if it will in time rip or tear based on the material but I'm Holding Out for positive reviews I will update you with another one next time I use it so my fingers are crossed. I think if they ran a edge around the top and bottom of the material it would probably add more security with double stitching. I'm just wondering if this lightweight material will tear or rip if it's constantly moving with the Wind. It did keep the sand off me today I'm just wondering how it's going to hold up I will keep everybody posted

Poor quality
Unfinished edges caused the edges to fray.
