Call me skeptical
I want verifiable industry credentials outside of this book, but can't find any. The career details are too vague to research. The first few pages mention being told to sing in a skit. What are his professional singing experience? Church choir, barber shop quartet, community theater, opera, Broadway, Hollywood, Nashville, albums? Career trajectory, one time performance, hobby or actually making a living from singing? Who has he successfully taught or coached that we might recognize? Any YouTube videos? Books appear to be printed on demand.

Suited for those with musical experience
This is a good resource for someone who wants to pursue the basics of learning different terms and many techniques associated with singing. The book includes functions of the upper body that relate to singing and producing sounds. There are breathing techniques, descriptions of vocal exercises, foods to avoid, and suggestions for caring for your vocal cords. Included too are explanations of vocal ranges, pitches, and voice types, along with examples of well-known artists. I found this book to be very informative.

If you're looking to improve you're singing...
If you're looking to improve your singing and discover your own unique sound, then this is the book for you. With its expert guidance, helpful exercises, and emphasis on individuality, this is a must-read. I especially enjoyed chapter 5, where the author encourages the reader to experiment and explore their own vocal range and style, helping them to unlock the "color" or "personality" of their voice. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer, this book can help you get better at it, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their singing to greater heights.

This knowledge inspires confidence
I have always wanted to sing but have been too timid to do much of it outside the shower. I even took lessons many years ago, but did not have the confidence to sing openly. This book helped me to understand the entire process of singing and was an encouragement to me.This book had a lot of technical elements (vocal folds, etc.) which I'm sure are important. But I homed in on posture when singing and the different ways to apply pressure for different kinds of songs. The different ways you can regulate airflow are far more important than I imagined. The breathing techniques the author explained were essential to improving my singing. The various exercises (Balloon, Hissing, etc) were fun. I also learned a lot about vocal range and practical things about how to take care of your voice. This book was written by a singing expert, and those who want to become expert themselves can gain a lot of information from this book. I'm just an eager amateur, and I was inspired by what I learned. I won't be signing in public any time soon, but the author offers singing exercises I'll be using that may pave the way to that. This was a worthwhile book I would recommend to anyone who wants to sing better.
