Kingfisher Paraffin Heater

Took rhis out of box and the screws bolts nuts that come with product don't fit the screws just keep spinning round and are not right type

The metal chimmney was a bit flimsy and to be honest it didn't give off a great deal of heat, I went through quite a lot of paraffin in a short space of time as I had to keep this on overnight and part of the day, not very economical, would have been better investing in an electric one with a timer.

Arrived faster than expected, I got this to keep my small outdoor grow tent warm and it's doing the job perfectly. Very easy to set up and get going, seems to last a long time when turned right down which is all I seem to need.

Bought this Greenhouse Heater as I had one very similar back in the late 1990's and absolutely loved it. This one arrived in good time and after checking it out, but not putting screwing in the T Bar chrome type section across the top up, I left it in the box ready for Autumn use. Unfortunately, the screws sent are so short in length, there is absolutely no way I can put the T Bar to stay steady. It simply rocks like a see saw and hangs down. Trying to get the correct sized screws is beyond ridiculous. My husband got in tough with the makers. Useless attempt as all he got told was that they had never had this complaint before.I however got in touch with the company who supplied this product through Amazon and to be honest, they also seem to want to make a meal out of my problem as they want photo's to send to the company who make it! I do not have the time to waste waiting for screws while the company who make it discuss the problem with the company who supplied the product. As the nights are getting cooler I need to use this heater as my plants are already in place in the Greenhouse. I am therefore having to obtain the correct sized screws from another supplier. So much for a guarantee. Waiting for this to be sorted out, I stand to lose plants in my Greenhouse, but no one seems to take this as important. I am very disappointed as this Heater is certainly not as well made as my first one which lasted years - and I put that one together with absolutely no problem.

Jury still out on effectiveness when lit. Main problem so far has been lack of instructions. You clearly have to know the tricks of how to light this thing effectively, but we had to have recourse to instructions from another make.
