JOOKKI USB-C SD Card Reader USB Type C HUB Memory Adapter for Micro MacBook Chromebook(Gray)

I bought this to make it easier to transfer and access files on my Samsung Galaxy S9, but can't get it to work right. First, I found that it doesn't work with the phone case still installed, meaning I have to remove the case first and replace it afterward. Also, although I can see the micro SD in the file manager, it has problems accessing any files on the card, and seems to keep resetting. I have tried the microSD slot, the SD slot with an adapter, and the USB port with a flash drive, and they all seem to have the same issue. Maybe it is a compatibility issue with my phone, but I have never had this many issues with OTG storage in the past.

As someone mentioned it doesn't work well if you have a case but that isn't really a device defect. Aside from that I noticed that my device didn't come in the same packaging as other buyers, kind of strange, but not a deal breaker. What I did not like was how uncomfortable it was to insert a micro sd card and how much wiggle there was after it was plugged in. It also did not sit flush with the laptop. None of these things render it useless they're just my personal complaints. It does what its supposed to do so I gave it 3 stars. I did a crappy review on youtube if you wanna hear me whine in HD.

Item worked on a COMPUTER (finally able to confirm if the device is functioning). However, I purchased this device to use on OnePlus 2 and it failed to work (light does NOT turn on). I guess I can use this for a desktop computer (as an extra option), but it is somewhat useless for the intended purchase.

Works as described. The reason I did not have this five stars is because it will not connect to the port if you have a case on your macbook pro 13. If the pin was a bit longer it would work fine. I have to take my case off to connect this.

The adapter does what it's supposed to and is a nice size. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. Biggest drawback is that when the adapter is plugged into the computer, it covers up the other USBC port making it impossible to charge the computer and use the adaptor at the same time. If you intend to use this adaptor to quickly transfer files back and forth then it's no big deal, but if you want to use it to back up your device, or edit files on a hard drive (something that you can't easily unplug w/o losing access to the files) then you should splurge the extra 5 bucks for one with a cord. Otherwise, you can't beat the price

When I searched the reviews I was given the impression this would fit an iPhone or even my laptop...it does not fit either. We also tried 2 different Samsung phones and it didn’t fit them either. Super lame and waste of money.

The color is almost as similar to the one on my macbook pro space gray, it works, had it for a month, very light and cheap compared to similar products who do the same job

This is a great adaptor but it wont fit on your Macbook pro if you have a laptop case so just be aware of that.
