Quality product
My 12 year old grandson was able to follow the instructions and made a very complicated project on the front of their refrigerator. Very impressive STEM project.

Very very disappointing
Most definitely the worst connections of any marble/track system. And I have several that have tracks that lock together. Great fun with the grandsons. This system very much needs improvement. It is almost unusable; especially the small end piece for stopping the marble as well as other pieces. Following the design on page 12 the small end piece pops off every time the marble drops from above…and not directly on it but onto the longer track piece. Several other pieces took 4 to 6 try’s to get them to stay in place—most pop off since there isn’t a pin, catch, lock or anything to ensure the track pieces stay attached. Absolutely no way our 5 and 8 year old grandsons will put up with the frustrating connections. They will walk away in less than 5 minutes. The designer needs to go back to school. Don’t waste your time with any of these National Geographic Magnetic Marble Run sets.

Flimsy, falls apart
The pieces are pretty flimsy and it’s challenging to get them to stay together. Also, the suction cups don’t work. Tried multiple walls, doors, cabinet surfaces and other surfaces and the walls keep falling down. I specifically got the more expensive set with a magnetic wall since I don’t have one for my son to build this on.

Poorly designed in my opinion
The 'tracks' that the marbles run along are not quite wide enough and they don't stay on the metal board very well. The set looks great and promising but fails. I find the pieces flimsy. Very disappointed, especially since it was this brand.

Not a fan
This was about our 6th National Geographic kit. Should have learned from the 1st 5. None of the kits we have purchased were easy to assemble or use. We usually end up throwing them away. This was bought for an 8yr old. The adults had issues, I don't expect him to be able to do it easily. The bendable tracks do not stay on the magnets leading to much frustration. I thought more pieces would come assembled & we could just enjoy
