Clay Pottery Bat and 10 x Reusable Polyurethane-Coated Inserts for Throwing Wheel, Green

Unfortunately the inserts don't fit perfectly as they should to avoid the wobble. I have to add a bit of plastic from an old bank card into the gap to be able to work with this system.

Paid £50 Plus shipping costs and then got nailed for import duty and administration fees by the Courier. €99 in total.Then EVERY insert needed to be sanded to fit because the varnish had swollen the MDF fibres and solidified.Remember, wear a mask when sanding MDF (Medium density Fibreboard) because the sanding of MDF can cause lung disease if you inhale the dust and these now have varnish added so be careful and aware. (The product doesn't come with a health warning even though it should.)The Image shows the name "Concrete Lab" Etched into the bottom of the Bat but this is for advertising proposes only as it is not on the actual product. Thats another warning to you about false advertising and your expectations as a buyer. Remember, You may not be happy about the E.U. but you have rights and protections and rules about being sold goods also.If I was to say anything Positive it is that the packaging is robust. That is the only reason for the one star rating.I have outlined my concerns to the company just prior to writing this review so they might address the issues. I dont blame them for the import fees as thats a Brexit Issue but I do blame them for not having any Quality control in place. The least they could have done was to ensure the inserts fitted. I doubt very much that they're selling hundreds of these so a 1 (one) minute check could have identified the issues and prevented this negative review.My advice is simple. Buy a similar product elsewhere because these don't fit and if you ship outside of the U.K then you'll be hit with import duties and administration fees (administration fees = Blank cheque Legal Robbery. I paid €18 for paperwork and €13 import duty).I will respond to any queries through here.
