Perfectly fine for a trip, expensive for home use
Our doctor prescribed this formula for our twin boys at the hospital. I realized the day before we left the hospital that we didn't have any of this formula at home. I quickly ordered this 1-qt jug in the hope that with the first few days home being very frenetic and this jug would work well trying to keep the kids fed.To use this jug, you must keep it refrigerated after you open it and you must use it all within 3 days.It was discovered after the first few days, it was just as convenient to use warmed tap water and mix the powder formula than to have to warm the bottle with the premade formula. We ultimately decided to just keep using the powdered formula for home use and for short car rides (in a insulated cooler bag with a cold pack). For longer road trips, I could see this staying in the ice chest. Overall I just didn't find the jug all that useful at this point. As for the formula itself, the boys have taken it just fine but with all the iron, they get a little constipated. I recommend purchasing this formula in the 6-pack carton of powder canisters.

couldn't ask for more from infant formula
if you're looking at this page, you're shopping for a premature infant. in that case, your number 1 (and 2, and 3, and 4...) priority is growth.Neosure definitely delivered excellent growth. In fairness, I have absolutely nothing to compare this to (never breastfed, no other formula as yet). But, in our house, I'd say it's worth every penny. We tried the powder, but it's just too difficult to say whether you've grabbed the perfect scoop (e.g., is this "packed"? or short?). As such, we had no confidence in our final product. And so, we've been stuck with this very expensive form factor.O well.Bottoms up!

Liquid not powder, good for only 3 days
Liquid form and NOT powdered. This is only good for 3 days

Use for oral feedings
So convenient, but seems to be grainier than the powder version and clog J-tubes quicker. We use the RTF version for our son who is bottle-feeding and the powder version for our daughter on a J-tube.

Great for premature babies
This formula was used at the NICU with our triplets. They are growing so fast and this seems to be perfect for them and doesn't cause them colics

works well
My 35 weeker needed this to help gain weight. He tolerates it well as a supplement 3 times a day. He gained 7oz in one week, so we think it works great.

It's ok
Hospital put my twins on this to fatten them up. Worked for that purpose buti quickly switched to Babys Only. Too much crap in this. Did cause stomach discomfort, diahrrea and bad gas for both girls.
