Rooftop Cargo Carrier Car Roof Storage Bag 100% Waterproof 25 Cubic FT

I have not driven many miles with this, but I am in snow country and everything has remained dry....Easy to use and very well made.

Bought this for our vacation trip. When we opened the package we noticed that the front piece was missing. Since we didn’t open the box right away, 2 wks later as a matter of fact, my husband didn’t want to send it back or let the seller know. My husband did make it work though. But everything else was good about it & it served its purpose.

We've now used this bag/carrier several times, through rain, crazy heavy down pours and wind. The mistake a lot of people make is not packing it fully. It kept our belongings dry and clean! I highly recommend it!

I was amazed with how much space this has.We drove through a terrible rainstorm (Cars slowing way down with hazards on) for about 40 minutes. After the down pour it continued to rain as I drove at 70 miles per hour. Just a few drops of water made it into the carrier. I was very satisfied.

I ordered the bag but didn't use it for a couple months as I didn't need it or move yet; the first time I used it, I went to tighten the straps and two clips broke with very little tension; I am a fit 53 yo female so I didn't misuse item. I am out of the window to return but if the company wants to refund me that would be great.

This cargo carrier is really well made out of nice, strong canvas material and add so much storage, plus it frees up lots of space in your car. Tired of the kids fighting because they are crammed together in the car with all the luggage? Just add one of these to your roof and the problem is solved. The straps are good and secure and installed easily and everything stays nice and dry if it rains. Great product that makes road trips much more enjoyable.

This overhead car storage bag is huge and seems very well stitched together. The material has waterproof layer in the inside, and there are 2 zippers to unzip the top part of the cargo bag. The zipper flaps that have very strong velcro, have to be flapped down properly so water does not intrude when it rains. There are two overhead straps to tie down the bag onto my SUV rails and two in the front to prevent the bag from lifting up the front while driving. I did have to move my roof rail crossbars further apart because this bag is so large, so that it will be able to sit flush onto my SUV roof top. If you cannot move the crossbars on your car, then it will have to lay over your crossbar, or you have to remove the crossbars. The bag sits on a rubber pad that is included, so that the bag won't scratch your roof top and so that the bag won't slide on your rooftop. It includes a combo lock to lock your zippers to deter theft while you are going into the gas station too. Since it is fabric, the bag forms to the shape of what you put inside the bag, not like the ideal beautiful shape of the bag on the picture so don't be disappointed if your bag does not look like the cool model pictures :) While riding, I did not hear much more wind, and we had 30mins of rain during the travel and I did not detect any moisture inside. I also have a large hard roof top storage and I would say this is easier to put on and take off the roof top, so this soft bag has the advantage on this issue, and I can fold the soft bag away from the roof top once I get to my destination so that my SUV does not look like i am a traveler. If I am doing a quick trip, I would use this soft storage bag. If I am taking a long trip, I would use my hard storage case as it is more weather proof and has a lock on it that is a little more anti theft. I highly recommend this bag for the portability and large storage space.
