Impressive tonal range and solid bass
Quality feel packaging, a joy to open. Satisfying click to the case when putting the headphones back into the case. Easy to pair to my iPhone. Sound is great. A replacement for a similar price range of headphones which died after 4 years of travel use. Initial listening is favourable handling my diverse playlist with deep bass and wide challenging frequency changes. Can only recommend at this price (I have tried the cheaper end of the market and they really are a mile away in terms of sonic range and quality).

Best wireless earbuds I’ve ever owned.
Decided to splash out and treat myself to a pair of high(er) end Bluetooth earbuds. Denon is globally renowned by audiophiles as a top tier brand so I went with these, and what a purchase. The build quality is great. The buds themselves are polished to an obsidian shine, quite slippery, even. The charging trodes in the ends of these buds have such strong magnets that they take a firm grip to remove from the case (so at least you know they ain’t going to fall out). But the sound quality is where they really shine! Spatial audio with fantastic active noise cancelling during my commute. I’ve yet to test that out on a plane (but that’s coming up). I can pick out every instrument with these babies. Crisp, clear. Perfect. Am well pleased with them. Highly recommended purchase.

Good, however.
The sound quality is very good of these phones. My ,however, is that I use the large pieces but they fall out regularly which is a bit annoying. I bought foam pieces for another make and they fit well and didn't fall out but would not fit in the little charging box so no good. I cannot find anywhere Denon supplying, recommending or even suggesting foam pieces for these. It would have been 5 stars all round but for this. Can anybody suggest a solution.

Great for running
Great earphones!!My problems with previous other brands, was that they kept falling out of my ear when running, or that they would lose bluetooth connectivity and cut out. No such problems with these!!These fit and work perfectly, with the sound quality excellent!!Connectivity is easy and the touch controls of the earphones simple and practical to use.I bought them for long distance running and they are perfect.Very happy with this purchase.

Very good but one significant flaw
I wanted a decent pair of buds and had bought these for £100 (now £138). Denon are a reputable brand, I've bought other Denon kit before. The sound quality is excellent, 5 stars. Others have said the volume is low and I agree, however it does not distort. Not since I had expensive hi-fi speakers have I heard some of the nuance I had totally forgotten about on some of my music. I planned to use these buds on frequent train/coach/plane travel so was looking for a decent noise reduction capability. I bought these for their active noise cancelling. Initial impressions were excellent, again 5 star. The "ambient" mode shuts out the vast amount of background noise. I was really pleased. Then I began to notice some odd noises. As the outside road noise increased, I started to hear occasional popping sounds. Hard to describe but noticeable. I thought it was maybe a Bluetooth connection issue. The pops seemed to increase in frequency as outside noise increased. I can only interpret this as the active noise cancelling emitting it's 'white noise' to counter outside noises, but not working properly. I have tried the buds with another device and it's the same problem, so not related to my music, my phone or Bluetooth. It is so disappointing. I could accept this at a lower price point, but not for £100+. I returned the buds. I'm still looking for a replacement if anyone has a recommendation.

Excellent value for money, so happy with my purchase!
Bought them at an excellent price (and also 5 months equal payments), on the last Christmas promotion! My special interest was the sound quality and I think it's hard to find any other earbuds with a better sound quality in this price range!Yes there's no sound equalizer, but frankly I don't care, the sound is fantastically calibrated (or tuned, sorry english is not my native language obviously). The same with the missing app, I don't care. I really like the way Denon is keeping it simple because, once again, the sound is brilliant!

Ok and good price, controls too fiddly.
Liked them but found the controls was hit or miss, maybe with practice could be better but decided to return and purchase another brand.
