Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect's Handbook: An expert's guide to becoming a Power Platform solution architect and preparing for the PL-600 exam

The book is an ideal reference guide for those looking to understand what solution architecture means and what architects can and should be doing on power platform projects. The book covers a variety of topics in depth that are aimed at providing an understanding of both the technical and soft skills required for the role. For those with not much experience of discovery/solution planning this book is a must and even seasoned senior/principal consultants will learn a lot from reading it and it is a great starting point for the PL-600 solution architect exam with the final chapter providing 35 practice questions for it.

Far too many books and online articles focus on a hands-off high level approach to Solution's Architecture, however Hugo has managed to capture these concepts, visualise them, and define the architects hands-on role within the project.A masterclass of solutions architecture and a must have for any aspiring (or current!) power platform architect.

Hugo Herrera did an excellent job covering all the topics required to build an overall understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform.It really helps in building key concepts from implementation to ongoing maintenance which otherwise would have been difficult to envisage for someone, this is really going to help in delivering better products based on Power Platform.Definitely, a must-have for all the Power Platform professionals.Thanks

Great read for anyone interested in understanding the true potential of Microsoft Power Platform.Hugo writes in a way that is easy to understand for all and uses diagrams throughout to further visualise the material.This book has everything from the very foundations and good basics of Power Platform through to complex solutions and integrations.A must read

It covers all the core products and elements of the Power Platform in an approachable way and provides the foundational details needed for designing and architecting solutions.Written in a very clear and easy-to-reference style, this book explains all you need to know and should be a required resource for all Solutions Architects, and Technical/Functional Consultants.As mentioned in another review, the bonus in this book is that it also helps with revising and preparing for the Microsoft PL-600 exam in a way that helps learn the key requirements for the exam.

The book provides the reader with a comprehensive approach to adopting the Power Platform. It covers the fundamentals such as laying the foundations, setting out the Solution Architect's role within a project to a hand's on approach to Solution Architecture.Hugo covers in vast detail all of the architectural principals and areas that a new or experienced Solution Architect will come up against on small or enterprise projects. This ranges from requirements gathering, through solution design, and data modelling and finishing with Implementation.If that wasn't enough Hugo also has preparation materials for sitting the PL-600 Solution Architect exam, which includes 35 questions and answers.I would recommend this book to anyone who is or wants to become a Power Platform Solution Architect.

Print quality is very bad. Diagrams are not visible

This book is an absolute must-have for both experts who are currently software architects and those on the way to becoming one.

The pages are all skewed in this book. It really is bothering me. Then the index jumps from pg 458 to 467 then prints backwards from 467 to 459

An smart and simple book for ramping up at Dynamics Architect. Hugo definitely shinning at show how to be a confident architect!

The content seems good, but the copy I received starts with Page 27. It is missing everything before this and the table of contents, any foreword, etc…
