These smell great! I put a few drops of the violet in my hair brush for yummy smelling hair. The lily in some oil for super clean smelling skin. It's so good!

I am new to candle making, as in, I literally have only made a few candles and started a few weeks ago. I have been making soy candles. I had an opportunity to try these. I have only made 4oz candles, and am still experimenting with wicks and things. I have only made 1 candle so far with these. I made the Cherry Blossom one. It seems to have a decent throw for the size of my candle. The smell fills up my living room. Sometimes I can't smell it, but I think that is probably due to me being used to the smell. It also takes a little while to actually get the smell going. Not sure if that's normal. To me, these smell like perfume, or soap, which is not my personal preference, so I don't think I will buy these again. I prefer the fruity/food smells. I also got these because I want to make these as gifts when Christmas comes (hopefully I can get this candle making thing down by then). These are also really small, I was only able to make 1 candle with the bottle. If you plan on making more or bigger ones with 1 particular smell, buy more.

I am an amateur EO user. Have some knowledge and experience, but not extensively. I would recommend trying this set if you want some scents that are more flowery. But know that Essential oils don't always smell just like the flowers.Usually they are much stronger and slightly "mediciny" with harsh vapors.So that's what I expected. And that's how they are.Anyone familiar with pure EO should also expect that.Usage is 1 drop at a time.I put a drop or 2 on each pant leg or shirt collar, and the scent lasts all day.I haven't tried any EO combinations or vaporizer yet, as I'm still trying to figure out which scents I like (I'm very sensitive to smells, so have to be very discerning).I saw one review that said the bottles are too small and there's only enough for a couple usages in a vaporizer.I can only assume that that person isn't familiar with real pure EO at all- because these are the standard .5ml size bottles of pure EO floral scents I have previously bought.And, as said before, you only use a couple drops at a time- even in vaporizers.NEVER would you 'pour' pure EO into or onto anything, unless making a HUGE (5 gallon+ size batch).And most EO should not be used 'neat' (undiluted in carrier oil or alcohol, etc) on skin.Now, I haven't actually tested these oils to see how pure they are, but based on trying the few that I have, I'd say they are fairly pure and effective for 'unscientific' purposes.The aromas are potent (so far a couple are not to my liking (irritate my mucus membranes) but also several are very pleasing.So, bottom line, I give them a "tryable 4☆" the price is right and even if only 3 or 4 are good for me, I can give the others to EO using friends.It's a good value for fragrance uses, not sure about medicinal uses because not sure of the purity.

I would give 5 stars but I'm giving 3 because I contacted them to use the BOGO free offer but it never came. The last time I contacted them they informed me it was 3 hours away and I've heard nothing from them since even when I tried to contact them multiple times and the bogo order still hasn't arrived days later after it was supposed to be 3 hours away before. I love the smells but don't expect anything from customer service and don't even bother with their bogo offer. I wanted to also use their facial product but I guess it's sold out even tho it doesn't say so? I did end up buying all 5 of the oil collections because I truly do love the product. Worth the purchase just don't count on their customer service.
