I thought this was not supposed to rust. I can not use at all now.

Sturdy. Works well for our lab puppy at the lake cabin.

Plastic coating on cable begins to wear and fall apart after only a couple of months. This causes the retraction to get jammed up with the coating inside the mechanism and the cable will eventually get jammed up inside. Good concept but with design flaw.

My little jack russel likes to run. This contraption allows her to run around in a designated area without going out of bounds. She is too young for an electric fence so this takes care of her needs. It is a bit shorter than my liking but the cord is coated and will not rust in the rain. The setting up is simple and once in place it does not move. It does not get tangled up or knotted. It is always ready when I need it. The retraction is smooth and reliable. It never gets hung up. Perfect for a little dog in the yard.

I bought this retractable leash in January 2017 to use when we went camping in the motorhome. The very first time I hooked it to my 4 1/2 pound Yorkshire terrier the leash went out just fine but never would retract. I tried to find a customer service number to call and ask if there was someway for me to fix it but I don't see any information that is available. This would be a good product if it worked as advertised.

Very happy with the purchase, use it every day. It was very easy to install and is well constructed. I am confident when I let my girl (40 lbs) outside that she will not pull out of the device and most importantly she is safe. The 15 ft. line works well for both of us and never gets tangled.Would recommend to anyone that would like to offer this protection for their dog it offers preventative care when you need it.

Just got this today and seams like a very well made. The only thing that I may not like about it is the lead is short. It look to rwach only 5 ft maybe 10 tops. Which it was longer but it will work as is for what I need for my puppy.
