The box was not magnetic. Needed it for presents so had to sick the box together using pritt-stick.

boxes didn't fit together properly and correct me if I am wrong but there is nothing magnetic about it, unless the colour of the box is magnetic black. Certainly, no magnet, a ribbon holds it closed.
