This mat is heavy duty and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It lays perfectly flat, stays in place and does a good job of collecting all of the dirt and debris before bringing it into our home. The slight smell disappeared after several days. Works great and recommend it!

Very disappointed in this product. It is heavy duty but will not lay flat. I have rolled it the other way for days, left it upside down for days in an attempt to make it lay flat. Instead it continues to curl, catch the door and make it so the door doesn't close. It also does not have drainage holes so I discovered, after a rain, I had puddles at my doors. I am returning the mats.

Great for my area....only the ends still curl up. I’ve put rocks on the edges but they’re still curled up.

It's been over a month and the mat will not lie flat on the ground. I've tried everything. The turned up edges make this mat a severe trip hazard. I contacted the seller but have never received any response. Throwing it in the garbage along with the money I wasted on it.

Once upon a time I felt very sorry for a couple of stray, yet super adorable little kittens, so I took them in with the intention of finding them a home. Apparently everyone who wants a kitten where I live already has one. Even the crazy people on Craigslist who will take anything and everything they see that is listed for free, no takers, I couldn't give these cute little things away with a box of steak. I couldn't understand this, most kids like animals, most adults like steak. I was stuck. With cats. In my house. Ick the litter. I tried different litter boxes, different litter box ramps and still there it was every morning when I woke up, litter on the floor. Something had to go and I had already adjusted to the fact it wasn't going to be the cats anytime soon. My neighbors have some super spiffy, super big, super mean dogs so I couldn't really make them go outside. I found this, put it underneath the litter ramp and it completely solved the problem. It catches all the extra crystal litter pieces so I can just hold it over the trashcan, shake it to the center and pour it in. No more litter on my floor, my feet are happy again and I don't have to spend all day sweeping. I would buy this mat again for regular normal people purposes, it catches everything that goes over it.

I initially ordered a large one for the Veterinary Hospital I work at and was so impressed with how heavy duty it was and the thickness, I bought one for myself right after it came. Unfortunately after 4 months on both of these entrance mats, the memory of the way it was rolled up is still so strong. Both of them came rolled inward - meaning the edged were rolled towards the wonderful little 'fingers' that you scrape you shoes off on, and the edges still have not flattened. As a result THEY ARE A HAZARD!!!!! If they simply rolled them the other way there would not be a problem. My husband has threatened to throw it as far away as he can several times, because of tripping over the edge. I placed bricks on each side for a month and as soon as they were removed they edges curled up again. I turned it over, hoping that the pressure would flatted it out. I heated up the edges to see if they would relax - nothing worked! If the company reads this, I sure hope they realize HOW they roll it impacts the satisfaction of the customer!

This mat works pretty well but we live where there's lots of mud and it doesn't really get into the lugs of our boots as well as the old plastic kind.
