LÍLLÉbaby 4-in-1 Essentials Original Ergonomic Baby & Child Carrier, Blue Maritime - 100% Cotton

I purchased this carrier because my six month old son was no longer comfortable in my other carrier (the original Baby K'tan) and I needed something that provided ample back support as I have preexisting back issues and the boy is already 20lbs. I carry him everyday and sometimes for several hours at a time, so I tried on many, many different carriers with him before deciding on this one.Pros:- Super easy to use. I did not need assistance figuring out how to put him in each carry or trying to juggle him while adjusting or snapping anything. The adjustment straps are to easy to use either with the carrier off or on, which was a big deal for me. It's also super easy to transition to and from each carry, which I love.- Easy to clean. The couple of messes we have had have been taken care of with a warm cloth to no ill effect. It doesn't seem to hold in smells, either.- Very cool to wear. I live in Florida and it has already reached 95 degrees during the day. Even in the heat and humidity, neither of us get too hot. The hood definitely helps to keep the sun off of my son and I'm able to keep it up while he is sleeping to help him stay undisturbed and he still does not overheat. This was also a huge concern of mine as we spend a lot of time outside.- Extremely comfortable. Between the padded straps, the hip support and the support strap, there is not too much pressure put on any one place on my back, shoulders, hips or neck in any carry. With current back problems, I have no issues carrying him on the front and a 30lb backpack for several hours. This is huge!!- The zipper pocket on front is the perfect size for things you need to access quickly (phone, keys, money, etc) without stuffing it full or having items poke into his back or sides.- Freedom of movement. Even though there are only a few carries with this carrier, I can do everything I need to without him being in the way or either of us being at all uncomfortable. His weight does not throw off my balance for things like housework (bending, sweeping, etc) or walking, shopping, anything really. This was a problem I had with other carriers I tried. Also, he can move around enough not to feel confined while still being secure enough that I don't constantly have to worry about him wiggling free. He's a very wiggly boy.- Privacy. My boy can get antsy in large groups of people, but in this carrier, he can tuck his head down and feel safe. This definitely helps curb meltdowns when he gets overstimulated or sleepy, which is wonderful. Also, if I were still breastfeeding, I would be able to do so without being exposed and with him being comfy.- Durable. The canvas is nice and thick while remaining flexible and doesn't feel like any particular spots will be prone to wear. I've only had it for a few months, so I will update if anything changes. However, with normal use, I don't see this becoming an issue.Cons:(To be honest, these are negligible for me, but I felt I should include them.)- Not easy to carry if you're not using it. Unlike my previous carriers, this one does not fold up for easy transport. I feel this is the nature of most, if not all soft structured carriers and is not an issue for me. It's still easy to carry around, just...large.- You are limited in the number of carries. Again, not an issue for me as I bought this model specifically for the simplicity (versus the other models with more features), but I can see how this may be a negative for some users.To be honest, I can't think of any other negatives.Overall, for the features and price point, I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase. I did a lot of research and trial carries before deciding on this particular one and am so glad I chose this one. It's ease of use, ergonomic construction and breathability are the best I've experienced. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves it and I would absolutely make this purchase again.

I love this carrier. I have chronic back pain, so finding a carrier that works is important. I use this carrier with my 15 month old son, who weighs 24lbs. I have tried front and back carry.Front carry: I have a hard time reaching the "chest" buckle. Most times I just leave it unbuckled. But that's only because I use front carry while at home, when he won't sleep. If I were out and about I would simply ask someone for help.Back carry: So simple to do. Once you figure it out, you'll never want to do another position again! It does take some getting used to, I confuse myself trying to pull the straps on. I suggest having them a little loose for the purpose of pulling them on with baby.The waist strap is amazingly comfortable. I was afraid it wouldn't be with it being stiff, but I don't notice it while wearing baby. The shoulder straps are comfortable too. All buckles seem sturdy and strong. I love the added bonus of the safety bands. I once unbuckled the waist strap before I was ready for that step. I was relieved I used the elastic band that afternoon.I have 2 small complaints:1. Totally minor complaint--I wish the front pocket was detachable. Call me weird, but I don't like the extra bulk. And we'll never use the mesh hood. And because I will primarily use this in back carry, I won't need the pocket for storing other things.2. My biggest complaint--this carrier is hot. The first time I used it was inside a store. After 30 minutes we were both sweating. I used it while walking around the zoo and would have to take him out every 45 minutes just to make sure he didn't over heat. So if you live in a hot climate area, be aware this carrier isn't very breathable. Even in cool temps you get warm quickly.Even with that said, I would still recommend this carrier to anyone looking for one. It's secure. If I could go back in time, I would definitely would have used this when my son was an infant!

I am in love :) the straps are a little wide.. I guess I have kind of narrow shoulders or something. I personally don't like back wearing.. only when Ihike. My husband helps me to get him to my back, not because the carrier is difficult, it just makes me nervous. I recommend this to everyone. I can do an hour or so of housework while wearing this and he usually sleeps in it the entire time. I love it for the grocery store too.. it keeps people from trying to touch him. It is so comforting to the both of us for me to wear him. I am Lillebabys new biggest fan. This is just as perfect as the very expensive alternative. Thank you Lillebaby for making comfortable baby wearing affordable and adorable!

Love this carrier. I have the Lillebaby complete 6-in-1 in addition to this new essentials carrier. For the essentials, I love it's compactness. The single panel is very nice, and a good height, and seahorses is awesome! Not a fan of the hood - non complementary color, weird attachment, seems really tight, can't take it off. Love the two way straps and the perfect fit adjusters. It is really nice for back carries, and I like that my baby could fit its seat sooner than she can fit in the wide seat on my complete. I keep my tummy pad accessory on it all the time for ease and comfort since there is no separate lumbar support pad.

Exelente mochila ergonómica mi bebé va muy cómoda se queda dormida sólo el tipo de tela de la mochila es del que se le pega la pelusa tal vez por el color que elegí (negro). Lo recomiendo para bebés de 6 meses en adelante por qué más pequeños tendrias que usar una almuadilla especial.

This is lightweight, comfortable and very well-made carrier. I was specifically looking for the model that allows to cross straps and this works well. I tried it on 7kg 4months old baby and I think she would still fit better with an insert (rolled muslin does the job). On the other hand, 17kg toddler is already too big for this carrier but I didn't intend to use it often with him anyway. My only complaint is on the design of the hood which is wider than the pocket, so it always sticks out a bit; it could also be a bit bigger, detachable and made of softer fabric. Otherwise, it's still very good value for money.

Bought for my daughter and grandson he loves being in it and looks very comfy. My daughter says it is easy to put on.

Ayuda mucho en el día a día para traer al bebé, no es muy estorboso y ayuda a poder tener las manos libres con el pequeño bebé seguro. Aguanta bastante bien su peso de 10KG y soporta unos KG más sin problema
