Creating some squirrel turf wars ...
I hung this up last night, and this morning, one squirrel was hogging the Squirrel Kob 'brick' while another was lurking, and several chipmunks looked hopeful. The squirrel who made it to the brick first then went off and literally chased the other squirrel off of my property. Not just away from the area, but took off down the driveway and out into the road (end of a cul de sac), and disappeared. My only complaint- there needs to be a better way to adjust the length of the chain that fits on a metal shepherd's hook pole (a separate purchase). I ended up doing some repeated 'figure 8' twists of the chain, which leaves the brick about 6" off of the ground. I'd hoped it would be shorter, to keep the brick higher off of the ground (the pole is 5 feet tall, with the curved area to hang things about 3-4 inches lower).

Good product
The media could not be loaded. I having it up a couple of weeks, I’ve had woodpeckers and a variety of birds land on this to feed. The squirrels seemed to be more inclined to feed off of what fell on the ground until this afternoon when I caught on video a squirrel hanging from it. He seemed to show off when he hung upside down by 2 feet to eat his chunk of corn 😂 so might be time to raise the chain a little!

Who's winning?
I want the squirrels to entertain me; they just want to take the easiest method of getting to the corn! Truly, we had a ball trying to 'outsmart' them so they had to jump on the cob. (We were minimally successful.) But all in all, it was entertaining. (Enough so that I just retrieved last year's model to use in our new home... and figure out how and where to hang it.) I have one suggestion. I 'internet-ordered' cob corn as I didn't know where to purchase it locally. DON'T do it! It cost an arm and a leg. See if there is a Tractor Supply or feed store in your locality and buy it locally. It's more available than I imagined. (Where do you buy bird food? Check there first.)

Ohhh LOL
Secure the whole thing securely, the tree rats stole the whole thing! LOL. Can't locate it.

A must for the Birdola blocks
Very sturdy, easy to hang from a tree branch. My branch was high, so I used a regular bungee cord around the tree limb and attached this bungee to fall the right distance from the ground once I attached the Birdola log to the end. It’s a barrel of fun watching the squirrels tackle the log while the bungee is moving sideways and up & down!

hang from a sturdy branch
I love to watch my squirrels eat the corn. I placed a stump under the bungee so the little guys can eat also!

Squirrels love the bungee corn feeder
Our squirrels love these things. We have two of these. They are well made and easy to set up. Good value.

Squirrel play toy!
I wasn't sure how our tame squirrels would react to it, or whether they would like corn on the cob as they usually get peanuts and sunflower seed. It has approval of at least 2 young squirrels who enjoy jumping up on it and biting off the corn. Some birds also join in. I have hung it from a clothes line and gradually shortened the chain length. It is currently 2 feet off the ground. You simply screw a corn cob on the end with an eye screw. I haven't seen any older squirrels at it, so probably best to try it when young adventurous ones about!
