FANTASTIC TRAPS!!!! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!
I did a lot of research on the best traps to buy and I think these are a winner!!! I noticed several other highly rated traps people complained because the mouse either chewed through the plastic or suffocated from lack of oxygen. I have a house full of kids and a five pound chihuahua regular traps were not gonna work for us. I had to get the mice out and preferable not injur the dog or traumatized the kids. I have caught a mouse every day this week (11 in all) even some that were extremely small. The main reason I chose this trap was the back end is lined with a metal plate and had large air holes. The mouse has plenty of room to breath and can't chew it's way out. We were out of town for the weekend and came home to live mice. The trap is very sensitive and closes quickly. Also it is set up in a way that the mouse can't chew of the trap lever because its on the outside. After two weeks we have only had ONE closed trap with no mouse in it. It appears the mouse managed to wedge the cracker in the door and slip out... clever lol I posted a picture so you can see what I mean. I used a saltine cracker coated in peanut butter as bait which has worked very well. I have also found the traps are very easy to hose out after use which was another complaint I saw in other posts. I cant say enough good things about these traps. They seem to have a few modifications the most popular brands do not that makes them WAY BETTER.

Caught something within 2 hours!
I put a cat door in one of my basement windows so my two cats could go in and out whenever they wanted. It works great, but now they're always bringing presents back home with them, which includes snakes, mice, birds, etc., that I can usually just catch myself and throw back outside. However, the last critter they brought in was a chipmunk, and my God are they fast! This is the reason why I ordered this trap, it's simple, effective, and doesn't kill. I grabbed some granola bars, set the trap, came back about 2 hour later, and there was a little mouse stuck inside that I didn't even know was there! I tossed the little guy out, unharmed, and reset the trap. The Chipmunk is still down there on the loose, but I'm very confident that I'll get him soon with this trap. I'll take pictures for proof when I do....Edit:About 5 hours after writing this review:"Gat eim!!!"

There are things I like about this trap. You don't have to worry that the trapped mouse will suffocate, and I like that it can actually eat the bait rather than be tormented by it. I was a little put off at first by the size of the tunnel, but I think it might be an advantage in some way. The metal plate at one end and no protruding catches to be gnawed off are other things I like. The one negative, though, overrides all the pluses. The plastic used is very cheap. By itself, that would not be so bad, but once the trap closes, there is a gap between the door and the floor that is large enough for the mouse to wedge its head partway out. From there it can easily and quickly chew off enough of the plastic to squeeze through. They were effective at catching the mice, but only for a few days.edited 8/9/17: I was informed by the seller that the issue had been communicated to the factory. If the trap design can be tweaked to narrow the gap, I'd be happy to give it another go. The customer service is great.edited8/10/17: I feel honor-bound to raise my review rating. The seller sent me a photo of a redesigned prototype, based on my comments. They stated the factory had been given instructions to meet the new standards. How often does that happen? I think the current model is not ideal for mouse control, but I can't be churlish with a company that will go this far to please a customer. I'm giving five stars for the new model, in advance.

Easy, sanitary, much more effective than kill traps.
Worked great for the first mouse but then a spring came out and it no longer works, can't fix it.Update- may have just been a defective trap. Like I said, my grandma loved it, caught mice in it every night she set it. The seller sent out a new one. Grandma's thrilled! I'll update again in a few weeks. It definitely catches them, is very simple and sanitary to use.Update #2- She's still catching them, is up to 18 now! Poor grandma. She still hasn't had any issues with the second trap, it's working great.Update#3- She's caught over 20 mice now! This trap is on its way to 5 stars. The first trap must've been defective. This one hasn't had any issues. She has a total of 7 traps set all over the house, this and a different kind. She catches mice in all of them. Every time she thinks "I finally got them all", a few days go by and she catches another. My gran isn't one to spare a life out of kindness, not really. She initially was trying to set snap traps that kill. I ordered this in hopes of teaching some compassion. Not only does she think the little boogers are cute now, but she also says the trap is much easier to use than the killing kind, as well as more sanitary.
