Wanted a snap cap to practice trigger control on my new Bond Arms Grizzly (.410 /.45). I had read the Bond Arms trigger isn't like most triggers and takes practice to not pull down the barrel or deflect it off to the side while squeezing the trigger. With a bit of practice, I am now ready to fire live rounds. This is not my first set of snap caps. They are made from aluminum. My 1st were a well know brand made of plastic and 1/2 of them broke over time. I think it was the gun oil that attracted the plastic. I don't buy any plastic snap caps ever again and that was 40 some years ago.

It works great. I taught my wife how to load and unload the 410.

Question every AR 410 upper owner wants to know is ammo length within allowance for AR magazines? Unfired cartridge length must be 2.289" or less to fit in AR 410 magazines. 2.5" manufacture's length is for fired unfolded hull mating with barrel's chamber, not loading. These training rounds do fit and are very helpful in maintaining muscle memory for quick magazine swap. These are aluminum dummy rounds. They will chip or gouge when misfed. Care must be taken between use to inspected and smooth out. They feed perfectly with a full charging handle stroke. A partial or weak effort can induce a jam or non-clearance during ejection. Still good training tool for AR 410

Using these with a Henry lever action 410 and a S&W Governor. Both require 2 1/2" shells and these fit the bill. The lever action cycles smoothly every time with these. I would definitely recommend for break in, training, and any dry fire scenario.

Bought these as a training aid for a friend with a home defense .410. Load and cycles well in a Mossberg 500 .410. Good weight to mimic loaded shells properly.
