These black and silver colored earrings are made out of anodized aluminum rings and scales. The ear wires are made out of Argentium sterling silver. The earrings measure 7/8ths of an inch wide and 1-3/4in long. They are very light weight, strong, and will a long time with proper care. NOTES: Unlike traditional 92.5% Sterling Silver, Argentium Sterling Silver has a silver content of 93.5%. Jewelry made in Argentium is stronger, more durable, brighter, hypoallergenic, and more tarnish resistant than its traditional sterling counterparts. The larger scale is made out of a shiny mirror finish aluminum. These earrings come shipped in a cotton filled box and then put into a bubble mailer.

Fall off easily
Keep in mind you have to bend the loop to prevent it from falling off. My wife lost one of the earrings the first time she wore them. Very pretty item, though.
