The include slotted screws
I had to return this rail. I really wanted it to work and love the idea. It comes with slotted screws to mount it. The slots are very shallow. There is no way to torque them down.

Solid sight for squeezing more accuracy out of your open sight muzzle loader
I am a Colorado Muzzleloader hunter. This means no scopes, but if you want to get a little more accuracy and have a place to mount a scope if you head to Utah or Montana this is a great option. I was hammering a 4 inch plate at 100 yards after attaching it to my barrel. Williams Gun Sights makes great products. I am a big fan.

Not compatible with CVA
The item being sold is not compatible with CVA. The item received will only work with T/C. The sight ramp is clearly marked T/C. The screws are too small to fit in a CVA. The rail is missing holes required to securely fasten to the barrel. If installed the rail will not be in contact with the barrel. This is clearly a rouse as the CVA compatible item is sold out everywhere and somehow this guy has 9 being sold

the original sights were the flimsiest I've ever seen to the point where you couldn't reliably adjust them. This is a definite must-have.

Doesn't fit the Optima V2.
Looks nice, but doesn't fit the CVA Optima V2. Mentions 'Optima', but is unclear about V2. The screws are too narrow for the tapped holes in the Optima V2 barrel. Also, the way it's designed, even if the screws -did- fit, only the rear 1/3 or so of the rail would be secured to the barrel. The rest is hanging unsecure.

Ordered twice, both were wrongly listed.
These DO NOT fit the CVA Accura. I called Williams Gun Sight company and they said they are selling these with the inaccurate item number.

It does not fit the Thompson Center barrels, none of them. On the back of the product, it was to be fitted on a CVA product and the Thompson Center label was marked out. The product was also opened and taped down when it arrived. I do not care about presentation or anything, but when it didn't fit on the barrels it just added to the mess.
