Craft Spice Blends(Brewer's Burger Rub)

This little spice bottle is packed with flavor. It's not too spicy, too sweet, or too salty. It's well-balanced and can be used on anything from pork to popcorn. I am a vegetarian and use it to add flavor to my dishes.

We love experimenting with spices and when I came across this brand, and tried one, I wanted to try them all. It's nice that these come in a glass jar instead of a plastic one and even though the price may seem high to some, this seasoning is well worth it, as are the rest of the types that this company sells. We also love that these are made here in the USA. This is one that I had bought for my dad for Father's Day this past year and he loved it. When I ordered some for us, this is probably up there as a favorite with the Brew Burger's seasoning that this company also makes. The smoked flavor is there and the seasoning is great to add to any type of meat, as well as marinades. Will continue to keep this one stocked up!

Both my wife and I agree, this is thee best steak seasoning ever. I have a spice cupboard full of all sorts of spices (many steak seasonings), but after trying this one, we can hardly justify using any others.. unless we are out of this one! which prompts a new order! and if we are out, we have found ourselves second guessing cooking a steak dinner that night because we are craving this flavor. Sounds a little extreme, i know, but its just that good!

We also love that these are made here in the USA. When cooking steak, or any other types of meat, this is one we will use in combination with the Whiskey Maple Smoke Rub from this company. We love bourbon barrel flavored types of beer, so I figured this seasoning would be worth a try because of that, and so glad we have this now in our pantry.

I opened this up instantly and smelled it to see how it was. Whiskey, Maple, and Smoke? I didn't get any hints of any of those smells even though it is very strong. I seasoned a chicken breast and to my surprise the flavor taste did not match the smell either. The flavor disappeared even though I used it liberally. I'm disappointed in this but willing to keep using it based on the fact that maybe using it with some other seasonings will boost it's flavor. I would say it's a decent gift to buy for someone because the name alone and packaging are attractive, but you could save about half your money and buy something in your local grocery store.

If you are looking for something to try, this is worth it.

The Whiskey Maple Smoke represents the fourth or fifth batch I've purchased from Craft Spice.Framed in but a few words, their spices are exemplary. Noticeable for the balance of nuance plus a perfectly piquant quality. Pork chops to a buffalo ribeye, this smokehouse blend is a match made in iron skillet heaven.

This all purpose rub & seasoning mix is so good. I purchased it for my Dad. He made burgers one night and they were delicious! Very flavorful. A few nights later he said he sprinkled it on the veggies he put on the grill and they were equally as tasty! Found a new favorite!
