Quality entry level flashlight. Great price to performance.
I used this for work in night security. It has great battery life, lasting more than enough in a 10 hour shift. Cheap flashlights had failed on me after a couple months of the use I put them through, this lasted over 6 months, and not more only because I upgraded to a more pro model from the same maker, I still keep it as backup. Great price for what you're getting, near pro level. I found the light cone angle just about right, wide enough to get good views, narrow enough to maneuver around windows and not to wake up neighbors. I like the simplicity of minimal modes, though not everyone might. I've dropped this, sometimes into deep puddles (lanyards are recommended) multiple times and it just keeps working. The only issue I've had is the charging port is narrow, so many cable ends are too fat to plug in.

This light works great!
Easy to use, change brightness and recharge. Brightest setting is SUPER bright, lowest setting is great for when it's dark and you don't want to destroy your night vision. Indicator on battery is helpful and recharges fairly quickly. I would buy it again.

Ideal for ushering / secure ops and astronomy if you don't need/want a red light
The ability to set the low light level and retain it as you turn the MH11 on or off makes it ideal for ushering. Very few flashlights consider this market. The way it is set up keeps you from accidentally turning it on to one of the higher brightness levels, blinding patrons and yet it has plenty of poop if there is an emergency. Considering the battery, even though it is easy enough to charge the battery in the flashlight, swapping in a standard fully charged 18650 takes only seconds plus Nitecore include a little plastic case to carry two spare 18650s. You may need the two extra batteries if your application demands continuous use of the high brightness (it will get hot) but in "usher" mode a single battery will last a season. In low lightness usher/covert ops/astronomy mode the battery lasts 250 hours or 750 hours with two spare batteries that the included case can carry. There are only two shortcomings that I can see. I wish it had a red mode and wish it was a little less expensive. It includes a tough, black nylon case with a secure Velcro belt attachment and closure (not quiet though like a magnetic one would be), a two position clip to hang up or down for pockets, a USB C quick charging cable, an 18650 battery and a small side-by-side translucent plastic case for two spare batteries. The Nitecore MH11 is little pricey but it is high quality and meets my needs well. No regrets.

Not recommended
Looked liked this was a decent flashlight so I got it as an EDC. Received the flashlight and went to charge it. It wouldn’t charge. Requested a replacement from Amazon as the build quality seemed okay and it had the features I was looking for. The replacement flashlight charged okay, but the momentary switch (on/off button) didn’t work. Returning this one this time and going to try a different brand. This brand is not recommended after receiving two DOA units.

Great little powerhouse
There are flashlights with more lumens, but they usually have multiple LEDs. This has one powerful LED centered in a focused reflector. This gives this a concentrated light in the center with a diffused light surrounding, perfect for my needs.
