Shoulder Mount Compatible with GoPro Hero 10/9/8/7/6/5 Other Action Camera and Cell Phone for Video Shooting Shoulder, Waist, and Chest Immobilization with Cell Phone Holder

The media could not be loaded.  Very sturdy and durable shoulder mount. My use case is to video capture a concert. Hoping the venue won’t classify this as a “selfie stick”. The plastic mount is large and doesn’t quite fit my skinny shoulders but I think I can just lay a cushion underneath to be comfortable. I’m happy with the functionality.

The plastic parts is thick and sturdy, made of good quality. I like this and will put it to alot use.

I ordered this because I was looking for something for my GoPro and my camera to do Tick Tock videos. It did suit the bill for a while but I found myself having to adjust it quite often as the camera and the video camera would slide to the front or the back. It didn't seem to have a good hold on my shoulder especially when moving around.

What a great idea. This mount allows you to keep two hands on what I'm trying to shoot video of. I don't own a GoPro so I have been using this with my phone and it works great. The directions include pictures but everything is really small and a little unclear. It took me a little while to figure out how to assemble the different pieces. It is nice that the straps are made from wide elastic allowing them to stretch around your chest and shoulder tightly. Once the harness is in place it is really quite secure.The quality of the materials used is pretty good. Everything fits together well and once the different set screws are tightened, nothing is at all floppy. I like that they used a Torx head bolt rather than a phillips screw to attach the base ball to the shoulder plate. This will wear better and allow for more secure tightening.The design is great. It can be worn on your shoulder or your waist. I guess it's normal for these types of items, but I do wish that they would have included an extension kit with this. I'd like to bring my iPhone camera out in front of my face a bit more so that I could see the screen while shooting video. This would make this kit so much more useful for me. They mention extension kits in the directions but I can't find any on Amazon made by "Visionkids." I assume  other kits compatible with GoPro  should work ok too. Until I get an extension kit of some kind, I've learned that I can mount the camera on my slight tummy bulge and sit in my office chair so that I can pivot around and use my hands to hold what I'm filming, all while having a great view of my phone screen. It's not a pretty sight but it works fairly well.

I picked this up when it was in the $20-$25 range which is starting to become pretty standard for action camera mounts. It is pretty versitile to all the ways you can wear it. But definitely keep the directions if you are like me and will forget the strap routing. I'm still having some stability issues with it. But that's more than likely my inability to set up the harness right.

I really like this item but I seem to be the only one in my household that doesn't think it's hilarious. Let's face it-- it takes a brave man to strap this thing on and go out in public. Actually, you may not be able to strap it on until you learn how to wrap the lower strap around your middle. Just think of it this way-- you could put the shorter strap under your arm, but if you had an extension you could wrap it around your torso and it would be more secure. Well-- you have an extension. Problem solved.,One thing to keep in mind is that if you wear it for long you will need to put a cushion (washcloth??) under it to protect your shoulder. All in all, it's a pretty great idea. In my opinion (I don't speak for the rest of household, they're still giggling).

This is a pretty sturdy mount. It is well made and built to last a long time. It works well with my GoPro Hero 8. It's just not the easiest to put on properly but once you get it on it's great.

I like the fact it's very versatile. You can wear it on your hip, or shoulder. You have 4 mount holes to use. The instructions aren't good so here's a run down. Take the Allen wrench, and use it to tighten the screw that goes through the shoulder mount plate, and attaches a ball. Use the clamshell which allows a ball mount on each end. One will allow the ball from the shoulder mount, and the other can use any of the mounts that have a GoPro, Camera or phone. I don't know if I'd use it as a waist mount unless using it on a bike.
