Great build quality
I used this to replace the cigarette lighter in my jeep when I replaced the CD player with an Android Auto head unit. Looked a lot better than having a USB-C cable running out the dash to plug my phone into. Easy to install and looked like it was a part that was stock from the factory.

No issues so far. Quality seems decent and expect it will last. Would have liked if the threads were extended further to allow easier mounting through the top of a desk, but able to make it work.

Great fit and finish
Quite surprising that the silver sleeve and nut are actually metal. While the USB housing was a bit smaller than needed (to no fault of the design) it fit well in place of an unused lighter. I cannot speak for the speed of the USB, but it connects to the receiver and phone just fine.

Replaced my cigarette lighter socket which looks nice. Just wish there was a rubber gasket to completely cover any irregularities.

No connection - this junk is a waste of time
I installed one of these in a project, only to find that nothing would connect through it. I then tested both of them for connectivity using known working USB cables and devices, and nothing will connect through them. It's like the 2 sides of the USB pass through aren't even connected at all. Wasted my time drilling a hole to fit this and running a cable to it for nothing.
