This was a great starter kit for someone wanting to learn. I created some candles with my son and we enjoyed ourselves. Wasn’t expensive and was easy to use. Are used leftover candles wax and essential oils to add scents to the wax that it comes with. My first time making candles, and I will say they burned for a very long time. I almost burned my face and ceiling off from the pot, but I quickly learned by mistake on heating up the wax. I do wish it came with instructions to better help.

Great little starter kit!!

This is an edit to my previous review. My apologies, I thought that my kit was missing items, but as I read reviews looking for others who had the same problem, I came across someone who also thought his were missing and he lead me to the bag with the wicks and stickers. I found the tiny spoon along with the two wick holders. Nothing was missing! The spoon is tiny and I guess I expected a large cooking spoon. This is my first time making candles and I made 3. Two I made using the items in the kit and one I made using a glass Pyrex measuring cup in the microwave. I liked the Pyrex cup idea better. I’m a beginner, so I’m sure I’ll change my mind a few times before I become a pro at this. I wish the kit came with instructions. Googling how to make candles wasn’t a big deal, it’s what lead me to find out that I didn’t really need the kit. Wax, wicks, containers, food thermometer (if you’re using fragrance oils) and a glass measuring cup is all you need. Well and a microwave of course. Good luck!
