6+ years of use and still LOVE these boots.
Started wearing these boots when I worked as a security director, a job that kept me on my feet all day, and could not believe how comfortable they were. It is like wearing a good pair of running shoes. Once broken in they feel like they are part of your feet. Wore them all day with zero foot, knee, hip or back pain. I loved them so much that i ordered 2 pairs a piece for each of my officers. I got nothing but compliments from the officers about them. Since then these are the only boots I wear. Now I am a truck driver in the northern part of the country and Canada and they still hold up as the best regular and winter boots ever. Here is a list of the good and bad about them...-Completely waterproof all the way to the top.-Truly slip-proof sole. (even while walking around in spilled diesel fuel at the truck stops)-Sole very rugged and does not fall apart. I put my boots thru H**L and have yet to destroy the sole.-Break in time was very minimal and when done, more comfortable than a pair of Nikes.-Awesome quality leather. Regular maintenance with mink oil or polish really extends the life.-High quality stitching lasts along time.-Even though not a "winter" insulated boot, they are still very warm.-Price, well worth the cost. The only downside is the interior. The interior cloth liner is always the first to go. As with any shoe its unavoidable. The area around the heel does fall apart but not for a long time.I hope they never discontinue these boots. I am on my 4th pair and absolutely love them. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants dry warm boots for a long time.

Great boots.
I have been using these boots for work, play, motorcycle boots and daily wear for over 20 years. Every year I buy a new pair only for work. 1 year old Work boots turn into play/hiking/motorcycle and quasi daily wear in fall and winter. The old ones in that position turn into year round yard and home work boots. After that, they are well worn out, falling apart and placed in the trash. About 10 years ago they began running tight and the sole was also a touch smaller. I contacted Rocky directly and they bounced my concern around to the manufacturing people and I was on the active email string. I sent them pictures of my concern and they took interest. They thought it was a part of some manufacturing process. They explained they would stretch out naturally and if they didn't or I wasnt happy, I could return them without issue and if I chose, I could start ordering wides to address my concern. I kept the boots and just wore them pretty loose for the first week. Only using the zipper from then on out to judge tightness and to take them kn and off. Set the laces and be done. As they stretched in the third week and the next few, I would gently tighten up the laces until they just fit like a glove. They are perfect the rest of the year. I need boots for work and my Agency doesn’t supply them so I get to claim the new pair on taxes every year. I also contribute this yearly pair to better foot, knee, leg, hip and spine health as the boots support system is new every year. The new boot absorbs shock and properly supports my body while running and other work related activities. All in a wide variety of weather and other conditions my life and health depend on. I am former USMC Infantry prior to LEO. I know good boots are very important. I trust these in all conditions and it would take A LOT for me to buy anything else. I also greatly dislike wet feet and the waterproofing in these boots have kept my feet dry in all non-submersive conditions. At the same time, they breath very well and my feet aren’t overly sweaty for yearly weather or activity conditions.

Almost perfect.
These boots have almost everything.Waterproof, high ankle with more than adequate ankle support, laces for simple fitment adjustments AND side zipper for slip-on convenience (!!!), great tread depth and grip for most situations, relatively lightweight, comfortable soles that I’ve enjoyed 9-12 hour days 5 days a week in with minimal break-in time, climbing up and down with lots of steps and uneven ground. Very comfortable, good fit.BUT — I would sacrifice a pinky toe for a steel toe in a similar boot from Rocky. Even a composite toe for weight savings. Something that I can enjoy in safety-toe environments without switching back over to an uncomfortable, blistering, inferior boot. The ultimate point of failure on my last pair was the bottom portion coming loose, but the boot was still mostly usable aside from waterproofing and unseemly appearance. The replacement pair was a different country of origin, but maintains the same quality I found in my first pair. The zipper flap design is slightly different, but the portion that actually touches your sock is exactly the same.I’ve gotten countless hours out of these boots, and I’ll probably find myself buying another pair once these eventually wear out.

Real leather, treat it as such!
These boots are real leather, and because of this, some other customers were upset about scuffs and cracks. Real leather will treat you well but only if you do the same to it. Expect scuffs and creases. The scuffs can easily be mitigated by using an oil/wax based leather treatment, which will keep the boots shiny and pristine. Now, for my qualification on these as work boots. I am a retail field worker, and I am on my feet for my entire shifts, except for maybe break if I get lucky. Usually can be either 4 or 9 hour shifts. These boots are great so far as far as comfort, durability, and looks. I keep them clean and shiny and get compliments even!. I also plan to use them when I start going backpacking and camping. Soon I might be going to college again to become an EMT and that will require a lot of standing and walking as well, and I know I can trust these. :) anyway, if you are reading this have a nice day. :)

Narrow fit but plenty of length
The fit is narrow. However it is okay in length. Great boot for work but you will probably want to pull out the paper thin stock insole and put in sorbothane insole if you are going to hit the road for duty for next 12-14 hours. Otherwise absolutely great boots.

Amazon sucks, these boots blow!
Toes crushed. For some reason the boot is great all over, except the toe of the boots, which narrow for some reason. Very uncomfortable. Requested and refund with a few days of receiving the boots, and only got $76 of the $176 I spent. What a joke. Never shopping Amazon ever again!

Best boots in my life for the Rockwall fishing
I moved to Western Australia a couple of years ago. Before then I was living in Seattle, and used to go fishing to Pacific Ocean(South Jetty of Westport was my favorite place) almost every weekend. I tried varios boots to be able to walk one way 800meter on the Rock, and end up using this boots, which has very firm sole and edge to have good grip to different part of the rocks. I brought new pair to Western Australia and used for around 3 years. It is good now I can get my favorite boots from here via Amazon AU. Fast delivery and nice product as I knew. Happy fishing.

Great Boot
I have selected somwhat small in the review options, I usually get 8.5 wide or a 9D in this case I got a 9 wide thinking I would have a bit of room for a heavier sock. Not the case the boot ends up being a bit snug. Just something to think about. Other than that I am very happy with the quality of the boot. I love the zipper saves on lacing each time, its made of good quaiity material and the sole is thick with good traction, the boot over all is very light for a winter boot.

Nothing special
The boots alright, nothing crazy about them. They’re ok for comfort.
