Totally love this bamboo! If I could afford to I would do my entire backyard in it.
My neighborhood is from the 50’s and we all have chain link fencing. We are not allowed to take it down or to weave slats into it…HOWEVER…it appears to be ok to put this beautiful bamboo fence roll on the chainlink. I used tan heavy duty plastic wire ties for now but I will change over to real wire before summer ends for longer life. It looks just beautiful!I used a 2x4 up against the fence to balance the bamboo on to keep up off the ground until lashed to the chainlink, then moved the board down the line until all the bamboo was installed.I’ll keep saving up for more until my whole yard is done. I love the look!The bamboo was beautiful and sturdy right out of the box, very easy for this 65 yr. Old lady to install by myself.the hardest part for muscling the box full of bamboo to the fence line. It heavy stuff. I went with natural which was so beautiful. This will make such a nice back drop for my new landscaping I am slowly installing. I added a before photo to show how little privacy I had before adding the bamboo roll fencing.

You could see through it and that was the point not to. The bamboo was small than it looks on line.

Still solid but wet
I've been searching forever for something affordable to hide my flood mitigated ac unit that is almost 6 feet tall. So I found the 8X6 bamboo, watched the video and got the idea. Box was clean and dry but it was obvious that the bamboo had been wet previously. Had a white mold/mildew like substance and was already discolored in several places as we unrolled it. It is solid and sturdy though for now. I figure over time it will eventually age in the Florida sun but I was surprised to discover it already yet was new in the box. We predrilled holes and used exterior wood screws on a natural color to blend in. We put a 2x4 on the ground and used it to level & get the bamboo off the ground a bit. Now we will see how it holds up! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't damp & mildewy
