I bought 3 of these cards - one for my Windows 10 desktop and two for Ubuntu servers hosted on old hp elite desk machines. Installation was very straightforward - detected automatically by Windows 10 and Ubuntu. Performance is very good and had no issues with stability or disconnects. Able to now transfer between the 3 machines around 230 - 250Mb/sec (obviously you need a 2.5Gb switch too).Only tiny issue was the green activity light. I have my Win10 machine on my desk so the green flashing activity light was very distracting so I had to use a bit of duct tape to cover it.Overall I would recommended and will purchase again if and when I need additional 2.5Gb cards.

The main point of this card is that it works in a 2.5g network environment, most likely found in offices. I picked it up to future proof as my desktop that occasionally gets moved to other locations.It comes in a tough cardboard box. It would be nice if the internal packaging was cardboard rather than plastic. They don't need to bother with a screwdriver - more landfill. Installation was easy as per all PCI cards. The half-height faceplate was a nice touch for server install.It popped up in windows with no issue and appears as a Realtek device. The only issue I found was that it operated a little slower than my built-in gigabit port.During testing I got an average 355Mbs download whereas my onboard device gave me 370Mbs.As previously mentioned, this will come into its own in a 2.5g network which I don't yet have.

Also, it is compliant with IEEE802 and it is fully compatible with the 802.1Q virtual LAN tag.I gave an old laptop that has a broken ethernet card so I tried replacing it with this one. If you're not familiar with its installation process you'll surely need someone knowledgeable to successfully set this us because you don't want to mess up installing this. After installing it, I tried this and it surprisingly works. This is also ideal if you're upgrading your PC—with this, you will have better WLAN connectivity.In my conclusion, this is a great value for money. It's rare to find some replacement parts that work and function as they should so I highly recommend this.

The included user guide gives instructions on how to download the drivers if you need to which is a good touch.The card worked perfectly and as expected and gave me excellent speeds on my network. Please do note that the highest rated speed of 2.5Gbps will only work if your router/hub and ISP are up to that speed. Most only offer 1Gbps and this card is backwardly compatible with that.I am happy with this network card and its pricing is about average so I am giving 5 stars and am happy to recommend it. If your current PCIe network card is giving you problems, then this card is an excellent buy, even if you don’t have a 2.5G network, as this card will give you future proofing for some time to come.

This 2.5g ethernet card is really easy to install in your computer (follow a YouTube guide if you're unsure) and works plug and play. I'd recommend updating the drivers for better performance, but this isn't necessary for basic functioning.Make sure you actually need a 2.5g ethernet card, because you won't necessarily get 'better' performance from this compared to your built in ethernet port. Your Internet speed is very unlikely to be faster than 1gig, so you'll see no difference at all with this.This card should only be bought by people who have a home server that's capable of high connection speeds and you'd like to take advantage of that. Otherwise, the average user just won't utilise the speeds this thing is capable of. Gamers should look specifically for low latency ethernet cards, as that's what will matter to them. Would recommend for advanced users who actually need 2.5g!

I picked this up to upgrade on of my PCs to 2.5gb ethernet and for £25 this is a great value for money to more than double network speeds when used with a 2.5 gigabit switch. I only have a 80/20gb internet connection so this makes no difference to that however I do access a home server for working directly from it and so every speed boost I can get helps me work more efficiently.This doesn't appear to use an intel NIC so some less common network protocols seem to be less reliable, however for general day to day use it works perfectly.

Installed this with little effort. This even comes with a small screw driver and screws. lol Not a big deal but sometimes the details are what impress me too. Did extensive speed testing and this card is amazing for our new 1.5G fiber network. Everything is so fast now. Gotta love it!

Me funciono perfecto en mi Windows 10 con una plataforma intel de 8va gen, pero no en mi TrueNAS en un HP Z220 con intel de 3ra gen que era para lo que lo quería. Es la razón por la que la devolveré.Sin embargo como dije, en mi PC funcionó perfecto y sin instalar nada extraño. Adjunto una foto donde la probé conectada a mi NAS con NIC 10G con una unidad ISCSI SSD SATAIII.La tarjeta tiene un PCB super sencillo y hasta bonita se ve con su bracket en negro, tiene su bracket low profile, desarmador y 2 tornillo adicionales así como un manualito en ingles y a color para la instalación física y la descarga de drivers directo del sitio de Realtek.Si la considero una buena NIC pero dado que no la hice funcionar en mi TrueNAS, no me sirve y tendré que devolverla :(

Ich nutze in meinem Heimnetzwerk einen zusätzlichen IP Nummernbereich für ein kleines zusätzliches Netzwerk. Daher wollte ich in meinem Rechner eine zusätzliche Netzwerkkarte einbauen. Jetzt hatte ich die Möglichkeit die 2,5 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express Netzwerkkarte von SNZIYAG zu testen. Gleich vorweg, meine Netzwerkkomponenten können nur 1 Gbit, daher sind höher Datenraten für mich nicht testbar. Die Netzwerkkarte wird in einer eher schlichten Papp-Schachtel geliefert. In dieser ist die Netzwerkkarte sehr professionell und hochwertig verpackt. Im Lieferumfang ist die Netzwerkkarte, ein lange und eine kurze Blende für unterschiedliche Einbausituationen, ein kleiner Schraubenzieher, zwei Schrauben und eine kurze Bedienungsanleitung.Der Preis erscheint mir im Vergleich zu den Mitbewerbern OK zu sein. Der Einbau in einen Desktop PC hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Auch unter Windows 11 gab es kein Problem mit den zuvor heruntergeladenen Treibern von Realtek. Nach dem Einstellen der richtigen IP Adresse hatte ich sofort Zugriff in mein zweites Netzwerk. Der Switch zeigt eine 1Gbit Verbindung an. Bis jetzt sind alle Funktionen voll umfänglich gegeben. Der Preis liegt im normalen Rahmen. Bis jetzt kann ich die Netzwerkkarte von SNZIYAG auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und vergebe 5 Sterne. Sollte es hier noch zu Problemen kommen, werde ich ein Update geben.
