From a Woman's Perspective...
I don't think that Ben Stiller and Adam Schandler get the same flack for a less than perfect comedy. Is this Amy Schumer's most brilliant comedy? Personally I loved her "Amy Schumer Show" even more than this flick. I lowered my expectations (as I do with every movie) and was pleasantly surprised, finding this film enjoyable for what it is! A Hollywood slap-stick with an underlying message, delivered in a campy obnoxious way. It's not better (nor worse) than Dumb and Dumber, Tropic Thunder, This is the End.The only difference in those dumb movies (which I have also enjoyed ;-), is that the main protagonist is male. And while I enjoy sooo many of them, it gets tiring to only see the male perspective.I agree with others that Goldie could have been utilized more, and some areas could have had more of a punch, or more complexity, during the last 20 minutes. I would have loved to see more comedy after her transformation with her mother.People need to lighten up! When I watch a movie with Ben Stiller, I EXPECT parts of it to be painfully awkward, when I watch Adam Schandler I EXPECT to be annoyed by his nasal-toned voice, when I see Jim Carrey I EXPECT to be annoyed at some point by his over the top facial expressions (which can be equally funny and annoying depending on the context). Do those "flaws" make the entire movie suck? EVERY comedian has their weak spots- I can't help but think we're a little more forgiving towards the men.Personally I find Amy's humor relatable. As women most of us had a time in our lives we were really REALLY stupid with men, falling for charm or putting ourselves in danger. Comedy is healing and so it's great to be able to laugh at this from a woman's vantage point. There's an over theme of the women trying to get men to rescue them while having to rely on themselves. It is not done on a "deep" level (go watch some indie flick for that!), but nevertheless the message is there for those who want to receive it.I invite you to enjoy Amy's self deprecating humor as a self-absorbed millennial, obsessed with the next selfie, floating through life and jobs without direction..!

SILLY AND OVER THE TOP AT TIMES BUT WITH GENUINELY FUNNY MOMENTS
I didn't have high expectations for SNATCHED but I liked the mother/daughter pairing of Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer. Much to my surprise SNATCHED has a long of funny moments after mother and daughter are kidnapped while on a trip to Ecuador. The movie starts slowly and Schumer's character Amy is loud and annoying. She takes nothing seriously even when he boyfriend breaks up with her just before their trip to Ecuador. Schumer's sometimes obnoxious character reminded me of so many loud and annoying Melissa McCarthy characters. Amy convinces her mother to join her on vacation--since no one else accepts her invitation. It was great to see Hawn again on screen and now playing a mature, responsible adult and not the goofy blonde she portrayed in her younger days. The adventure begins after the kidnapping as they find ways to out think and escape their captors. Christopher Meloni has a great role as a not too experienced explorer who comes to the rescue (for a while). Add in Wanda Sykes and I didn't even recognize Joan Cusack until I read the credits.Again, this is a silly, goofy movie. At times, it is slow and not excessively funny but it has some great moments and this is a fun stay-at-him movie.

best comedy of the year so far
This one gets 5 stars for me, best comedy of the year so far, Ill agree with statement in fact one of the few comedies that I enjoyed in the past few years. Its not laugh out loud funny having you laughing every minute, but it gets the job done funny enough and just entertained as well, sometimes its not about how much you laugh at comedies versus if you were entertained. to reply to a comment I don't think it has been done before yes there was Harold and Kumar when they were captured at Guantonomo Bay but that was more in relation to the terror attacks in the country dealing with fear of muslim looking people, and extreme punishment and torture at Guantonomo where some of the most evil threats against our country have been taken. Now in snatched its more of just being abducted in another country I think having something to do with human trafficking as well. so there is a difference. Give this one a chance and im sure you will never look at milk the same way again either, really funny scene. Enjoy

Hysterical !!!
I normally find "funny" movies, not so funny at all... I like dark comedies though mostly but this one here, made me crack up over and over... This is highly recommended for some serious laughing!

Funny, raunchy in a good way.
This was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. It's raunchy, but in a good way.It was nice to see Goldie Hawn playing the mother role: she was great too.

The quality of the movie was great, and I would definitely order another movie on ...
I bought this movie when it first came out on Amazon. The quality of the movie was great, and I would definitely order another movie on Amazon again. There were no glitches and the process for buying the movie was easy and quick. The movie itself was okay, I think they tried too hard to be funny, but I did have a couple of laughs!

Buena comedia.
