Very nice
I've worn these types of bags for years and this one is ideal. Nice and wide so I can stash pens, glasses case, etc. Buckle and zippers are robust. Plenty of pockets. I've worn it daily now for 6 months and it isn't showing any wear at all.

Did what I wanted it to, but disatisfide with the lining of the first one I ordered
I use the product to carry my personal and work phone in along with a card case for drivers license,etc.. The exterior is still good as almost new, but the ,lining became so torn and frayed , along with one of the nylon zippers broke making that compartment unusable. that I had to order another one. Hoping this one is better. Except for the lining issue it's well worth the money.

Leather is good. Zippers not so much.
The leather on this fanny pack has held up well. So too has the inner lining - previous fanny packs have not faired so well with either. The zipper pulls, however, have begun breaking one by one however. When I used a small paperclip as a replacement pull (cheesy, but effective!), the zipper head then broke with a few days. Also, the stitching on the waist strap came undone, although I was able to repair that.Sadly, I will be looking for a different product for my next fanny pack for this reason. If this little fellow had quality zippers (and slightly better stitching, I would definitely be a repeat buyer. As far as personal preference, I came to like the 3 front pockets. You can fold a letter-sized document into one fourth size and it will fit nicely into the upper most of the 3 front pockets. I use it to hold my receipts when I am doing bulk shopping! On the other hand, I prefer a slightly larger main and "hidden" back compartments than this fanny pack has.The main compartment will hold a wallet, hand sanitizer, nail clippers, glasses and a little more, but it starts to get very cozy after that. The back compartment will hold a check book, but is not much wider than that. This is NOT a knock the product, just giving you an idea of size. Many will actually like this size just fine!

A great pack but not a 50" waist
This is a pretty decent fanny pack; and if you consider the price it is a most excellent fanny pack. (uhhh ... "bum bag" - don't want to offend our British neighbors ;-)It's made from fairly high-quality leather, uses a wide belt & solid buckle, has lots of pockets and the workmanship is very good. The one nit I'll pick is that it's not as large as I expected. I'm pushing 48" in circumference and it fits tight; there's no way it'll stretch to 50" as described. However, it does fit better than any other bum pack I've purchased recently.So:[1] one star off for being smaller than advertised[1] one star added for accommodating larger waists than competitors

Bag design great, sewing and strap not so great
I've been wearing a belt pack like this for decades. The leather portion of this bag is the best-designed I've ever had. I would like to give it 5 stars but the webbing belt sucks. First, 1.5" webbing is too thick. I think 3/4" is a bit thin as it tends to twist, 1" would be ideal. And the 1.5" side release fastex buckle is way overkill, and hard to pop loose. YKK makes a 1.5" center-release buckle that is half the thickness. Also the way the belt is rigged up, I would have to tighten the main buckle and slide the triglide back several times a day; this could have been cured by taking two loops around the center of the triglide before sewing. Luckily or unluckily, the loop around the center of the triglide was only a single line of stitching, not a bar tack, and it came apart after I'd had this for a couple of weeks. That's good, as I was able to rerig the buckle and triglide as shown in my picture, and it now stays where I adjust it. Update, October 22, 2020: I was wearing this as I was out on my mountain bike. Suddenly the loose end, with the Triglide on it, came loose and started flopping around. I looked at it and said, "This is topologically impossible." When I stopped to rest, I found what you see in the second picture. The low-bid Triglide had broken, with no apparent injury to it. But if you look at it (the broken one in the second picture) and compare with a "real" Triglide, above: it is pathetically weak. You can order a new 1.5" "real" Triglide on amazon. I replaced the broken one with a "real" Triglide and again I'm back to being non-flappable, or at least my waistpack strap is. Update, November 11 2020: the pack just fell off my waist as the strap came unsewed from the leather on the left side. Dropping my rating to one star. Great design, sucky materials and construction. My tailor was able to sew the strap back on with their heavy-duty sewing machine. And I replaced the heavy-duty buckle with one of those flat YKK ones I noted above. So, even though it gets a 1-star rating, it is still my favorite belt pouch type waistpack and I use it all the time. Until some other part of it falls apart. Update, January 2021: the sewing on one of the zippers is starting to come apart. See picture. Sigh. Update, end of January: another zipper came unsewed. If Fannings were to tell me they've improved the pack, and send me one with a less-flimsy triglide and better sewing, I would probably upgrade my review to five stars. Update, January 2021: had a zipper failure. This one didn't come undone from the pack, the coil zipper itself wore out. Looking at it with a magnifying glass, this is because the thread holding the coil of the zipper to the side panel has worn through. I have had similar waistpacks (not as good a design) with coil zippers like this that have not had such failures after 3-4 years of constant use. I can only conclude that this is a low-bid zipper that is made with an inferior thread compared with my other waistpacks. Have to replace the zipper. Updated, February 16: I finally decided, after looking at all of the low-bid zippers on this pack, and having realized that I've spent more on repairs than I have on the pack itself, to throw it away and try a different, more expensive, brand. Money down the hole.

Wears out fast/Leather Fanny Pack Travel Waist Bag
For $20, I expect an item like this to last 1 full year, at least, but these break before 6 months are up. The other thing is they keep switching the side the zippers and waist band clasp positions and direction to zip. Just when i get used to belt clasp being on right side, my next order has it on the left side. All zippers closed to the right side with my last bag, now everything closes to the other side. I wish it was stated in advance somewhere, which side closure they are giving me as i don't think i've seen it. Hopefully no holes in the pockets and no broken/torn zippers within the next 6 months of this new order. I was impressed the delivery man said he had to bring it upstairs to the customer, but i was person he had to hand it to and i was right there today!
