This Headlamp Is The BEST!
First, I need to start off by saying that I have a very nice collection of high-end headlamps in which to compare the Acebeam H30 to, so this review is coming from someone with a large sample size.I ordered this headlamp because I wanted something that could sustain above 500 lumens for at least 2 to 3 hours. The Acebeam H30 can do that easily, and then some. This headlamp is available in many configurations, but I opted for the 6500K with red + UV. I like to hike in remote canyons at night and the UV is very useful for detecting scorpions since they tend to flouresce under this type of light. Also, the UV light is handy if you collect minerals since many will flouresce as well. The red LED is useful for map reading at night, or for when you need low light while completing tasks. The headlamp I received is the newer design which incorporates two round buttons vs the older design which has one square and one round button. It arrived in packaging which was very pleasing in appearance. Upon opening the contents, I immediately noticed that this headlamp is very well-made and feels 'tough' when you hold it in your hands. The buttons have a nice tactile and audible click that you would expect from such a high-quality design. Caps are threaded nicely and go on smoothly. The mount is comprised of both plastic and rubber, a common design that is found in other top tier headlamps. The headstrap is comfortable and seems like it will last for a while. ALL headstraps will lose their elasticity over time with heavy use and must be replaced, so only time will tell how long this one will last. The light comes with an extra mount that can be used on a helmet, or even just kept as a spare. It also comes with extra o'rings, a USB-C cable to charge the battery, an Acebeam 21700 5100mah battery, and an adapter that allows you to use 18650 batteries. Now on to the important stuff. Runtime claims from the manufacturer are valid. In my testing, using the provided Acebeam 21700 battery, I was able to get runtimes that were equal to the ones they listed, especially in the higher modes. There are six modes available, from a moonlight setting all the way to 4000 lumens in turbo. Output levels were also spot on. And let me tell you, this light is BRIGHT!! To control all of these modes, the user interface (UI) is well-thought-out and took only a couple of minutes to get the hang of. Being a 21700 headlamp, I was expecting this light to be on the heavy side, but I was pleasantly surprised that it weighs the same, or even less, as other well known brands.CONCLUSION: This light is definitely worth the price. I work as a Firefighter / EMT-B and plan to purchase another one that I will use only while at work. If you are on the fence about ordering the Acebeam H30, don't hesitate and grab one.....you won't regret it!!

Well designed and powerful headlamp for medium to high demands
Very powerful main light and sufficient UV light (I use it for detecting minerals) in a compact enclosure. The cool white main LED delivers a comfortable light which isn't too blueish. In comparison to other headlamps selecting one of the different power-/ function settings with two buttons is thought-out and well designed. Bidirectional USB-C charging port in combination with changeable 21700 single cell (compatible with 18650 cells as well) add to the useful key features.Shipping to Europe did take some time, but it was worth waiting. Unfortunately one cannot choose the two secondary LEDs free, the red one is obligatory. That means, for example high CRI + UV (which likely would have been my fafourite cmbination) isn't available.

the UI is bad and can malfunction and I can't fix it
The media could not be loaded. The light worked great at first for the first day, but then I can't get it to switch to UV mode anymore, it constantly blinks every 10 seconds or so, I can't adjust/change the brightness anymore and I initially thought the blinking and these problems came from a low battery but I charged it out in the field while hunting with my battery bank, problems persisted, then I charged it at home and the problems still persist. It's extremely annoying. The two button interface and the user manual with all sorts of modes is confusing especially when the product doesn't work like its supposed to. The red SOS mode still work. And I know its a defect because it wasn't doing this the first day of use. Also it has no damage, it hasn't been dropped, submersed, nothing. this happened literally after my fist use.

Great field tested headlamp great for work
Ive had this for over 1 and a half years now, ordered it in May 2022, it’s now December 2023. I use it 5 days a week, for 2-3 hours on and off every morning. I drive a trash truck and this is great for my pre trip inspection, all the dark work areas I encounter, opening up dark enclosures and being aware of my surroundings, as I start my routes at 3 in the morning. I’ve had zero problems with it, battery lasts a very long time, I typically charge it once a month. It’s super bright. It’s built well and tough, as many many days I take it off my head and forget to put it back in its case and into my book bag, and it bounces around the dash of the trash truck without being harmed. I have no complaints.

4 years of hunting abuse
4 years of hunting using this headlight , absolutely zero issues with the light itself but the headband. The headband lasted 2 years only . Don’t know the exact reason, maybe freezing conditions sometimes, maybe something else. The Headband is stretched , not holding the light . Just ordered 2 new ones. Hopefully they’ll last longer . The light itself is phenomenally exceptional for hunting use , red and green LEDs are the best thing on the way out of the woods . I recommend this product.

Great battery life and very bright!
I bought this product for caving. I have never run out of battery on my 3-7 hour trips using the second brightness level and occasionally the turbo mode. This light is almost always the brightest out of the groups lights, and people are always asking what brand it is.

Best headlamp I've ever had!
This is by far the best headlamp I've ever used! I have had quite a few through the years, as I don't see well in the dark and rely on them when working on cars or doing other things in the dark. I had a Princeton Tech one that was really nice and bright but wasn't the best functional use and had a battery pack that was on the back of the head strap and was very heavy and bulky so when I was upside down or laying down it would sometimes fall off. This one from Ace Tech is super light and fits amazing and is way brighter then even the Princeton Tech was. Light years ahead of the cheapies that take a few double a batteries would highly recommend this headlamp if you seriously need light.

This thing is amazing.
It’s expensive and I hesitated before finally giving in days later. The memory function alone is worth the extra expense. I love this thing.I do wish the headband was easily removable so I can wash it.

Great, but maybe not for jogging
For me, it a great headlamp, even though I admit it may be less than ideal for jogging, as it's rather on the heavy and bulky side...It's the price to pay for having the large 5,000 mAh, 21700 battery. One thing to remember - not all USB C cables will work to charge the battery. If you lost the included cable, find one meant for power supply and test it to make sure it works.I didn't measure the output in terms on colour temperature, intensity or tint, but I find it more than enough for use in the field, in total darkness. The high level is quite bright, the lower levels are sufficient for various purposes.Got the red and UV one - both red and UV LEDs work as intended.Switching between modes can be a bit frustrating, if you don't have a good memory and/or use several headlamps, with different operating procedures...I removed the center strap, so I can wear it with a hat (pointing it down and having it under the brim, so I don't shine it in the face of people around me).One thing I wish it had and I would use quite often if it had it, was a magnet on one of the caps, like the H50 2.0 (only stronger because that one is so weak, it's useless...)The mount is a little bit uncomfortable and will leave marks on your forehead, but I found that wrapping the strap in soft cloth on the width of the mount solves the problem.Overall, a great headlamp that is not inexpensive at all.
