Luxurious quality. Worth the price
This rug is thick and wonderful to stand on. The color is perfect. Super rug.

Quite Beautiful!
These rugs are stunning, with their vibrant colors and non-skid backs, they are so much better than the cheaper or more expensive ones. The colors pop right out at you. They lose very little lint in the wash, unlike some brands where you have a whole 'nuther rug in the dryer filter when your done!On the negative side, the washing instructions state "machine wash cold on gentle cycle, tumble dry low". Now I have a rather new HE washer and dryer, and tumbling them on low didn't really get them dry. My dryer has a setting of low "More Dry" so I may try that next time. You wouldn't want to dry on medium, because it sort of destroys the rubber backing, but plain old low didn't dry them enough.3/14/15 - So.. I tried them on Low, "More Dry". Then I ran them on low "Speed Dry". Now maybe it's my dryer, which is new, but these are the only mats I've ever had that didn't dry well. More than likely, because they are a superior quality to others. But if you live in a non-HOA community, where you can have a washline, hang them out! They still really don't dry well in a conventional HE dryer. But guess what? If there's another color available, I'll order them again!

Still the best bath mat for me, but durability, color selection, and pricing are issues
These Stainmaster TruSoft bath rugs are plush and have dimensions that are ideal for my bath, so I am glad I can still find them. Many other bath rug brands don't offer the larger sizes, or run small if they do, and finding something as plush is very difficult.Durability wise, with only light foot traffic (no shoes) and occasional washing on a gentle cycle per the care instructions, I find they need to be replaced every 3-4 years as the rubber backing tends to degrade. Even with a gentle front loading washing machine it seems like the washing puts more wear on these than simply walking on them. Of course not washing them is not an option for me and I assume most people. These bath rugs used to be manufactured under the DuPont Antron line and sold by Target under their Fieldcrest brand and Sears under their Colormate brand. They also used to be a lot less expensive and have a better color selection. Now that Invista sells them under the Stainmaster (also a name from DuPont) TruSoft brand they are much more expensive, much harder to find in local retail stores, and the color palette leaves something to be desired. Thankfully the softness and pile height of the fibers remain the same from the DuPont days.

Ultimate soft, cushy comfort rug!
I made this purchase for a different use than most other people, so bear that in mind. We have two dachshunds who sleep in the mud/laundry room. I wanted a rug to catch the draft from the door in cold weather that is also soft for them to sit/lay/roll on. The price was almost a deterrent, but in the end, I'm glad I chose this option. It is unbelievable soft, full & cushy, and the pups LOVE it. So it does get a lot of cuddling, but by two dogs that are 15 lbs or less. We've now had this rug for 2 months and I've spot-cleaned it twice and dried it in the dryer with complete success. I do not know how it will fair in the washer, although I did use a brush to scrub the spots I cleaned, so I think it would be OK, perhaps on a delicates cycle rather than a more "heavy duty" wash cycle. I've seen a disparate bit of rug fiber now and then, but it's certainly not falling apart by any means. If you're in search of the ultimate in softness - and this is like stepping onto a heavenly cloud - and don't expect to tromp on it in work boots or heels regularly, this is truly the lushest rug I've found. I suspect it was made for people wearing slippers or who like to feel the luxurious softness between their toes rather than the bathroom off the entry that people in outdoor shoes utilize.

Awesome bath mats - rubber backing = safety, dry quickly, stay plush, stay clean looking / can easily shake/vacuum out dirt.
I replaced all my bath rugs with these rubber back ones a year ago when my 80 year old father slipped in our tub. With 3 little kids, we don't uh ...shower too often and don't really wear shoes in the house... so I think I have only washed them once. These mats are really nice - they stay soft and plush. And dry quickly after getting wet. The old mats that I had would really hold water and get trampled looking after 2 weeks and take forever to wash and nearly break my machine in the process. Not these. I am happy. Will update again if after a few washings these are destroyed. Yeah - I know they're not terribly exciting looking but at some point you don't want to spend 6 hours every two weeks washing that "fun" looking bath rug you had to have.UPDATE: Again, can't say enough great things about these mats. I've replaced all of the rugs in my bathrooms with these. They dry quickly. Wash up nicely. Again, maybe in my younger days I might have frowned upon a mat that looked like a boring pile rug - but now I've got kids who do unmentionable things on the bathroom floor...and I also don't want them to slip.

Way overpriced
I bought this rug about 2.5 years ago and was pretty happy with the product. I was going to buy another today but changed my mind because of the price. It has nearly tripled in price in that 2.5 years, it's a nice rug but the price has gone up too much to justify buying it again.

You'll be sorry for getting Fresh Cream
After originally purchasing the Fresh Cream 17-By-24 Inch rug, I noticed it got dirty quite fast. I returned it, and ordered the Wasabi color, in hopes I won't encounter a similar experience. I am definitely glad I ordered it! Unlike the Fresh Cream colored rug, the Wasabi colored rug does not display dirt as much. The item itself feels quite soft, and cushy. After coming out of the shower, it is definitely the feel you want. The fact that it holds up well against water, is quite a plus. The construction was well-thought out, as it is quite sturdy and does not slide around at all. I have been using it now, for a while, and it has been holding up quite well. Note, it is in the bathroom of a family of 10 (many children).Pros:- Sturdy: the rug was well-thought out; it does not move around.- Comfortable: the rug is cushy and soft, and is amazing to step on after a shower.Cons:- Cream: I highly suggest you do not purchase the Fresh Cream colored rug, as dirt is much more visible with that color.

Ok rug
It is a nice rug but does not absorb water. Not great for the bath. Gets a little slippery where wet. Ordered two the same color and got two different shades, both called blue sky. So I have to return. A little disappointed with it.

So-so.
Does not absorb water right away so when you move your feet, you step onto cold water -- very uncomfortable. It does eventually absorb so after a while, it does feel dry.

Very Fluffy
Very soft ; good non-skid backing. The reason for the 3 stars is because the fuzzy loops on one side are not inline. Wondering how this will withstand a wash ?

Very fluffy Maybe a little too fluffy. My toilet seat lid won't stay up on its own anymoreAlso the color seemed a bit darker gray in the picture
