Excellent quality
I am very happy with this backpack. The design is modern and clean. I use it for work, and it looks very professional. I use it to carry my laptop (MS Surface Book) with accessories (usb hub, cables, headphones), an 8" tablet, a notebook, and pens, and it still has a nice amount of room left for carrying files or other documents. The laptop compartment has its own zipper, which is located on the side of the backpack (not the top). I was surprised by this, but it actually is a nice feature because it makes it easy to take the laptop out while the strap is over one shoulder. It has a double zipper on the main compartment, which is very nice. I do wish it used the double zipper on all of the compartments, but at least, it should have been on the laptop compartment too.The back and shoulder straps are nicely cushioned and ergonomically designed. It is comfortable to carry by one strap over the shoulder, and very comfortable with both shoulder straps on. It has a nice handle to carry it like a brief case as well. It comes with a luggage lock, which can be used on either the main compartment (where the 2 zipper heads interlock), or on the laptop compartment (where there is a non-moving metal ring near where the zipper closes). Of course, this is a lock on a backpack, so it is not high security, but it will deter the casual thief looking to pick your pocket. It also has a "hidden" compartment under the back's cushioning. When carrying the backpack by both straps over the shoulders, this compartment is completely hidden. Even with the backpack off, it is barely visible with a very low profile zipper that recesses into the cushioning. The laptop compartment is nicely cushioned, as is the main compartment. There is a nice organizer in the main compartment for pens, keys, etc. It has a key ring which clips in place. There is also a small front pocket, a small side zippered pocket on one side and an elastic mesh pocket for a water bottle. The mesh pocket easily fits my 20 oz Contigo insulated bottle. There is a zippered pocket on one of the straps -- perfect for a Metrocard or train ticket. On the other strap, there is another open pocket -- for glasses, a pen, etc. The ends of the straps have hard plastic loops. It also has a built-in charging port. This is really a special opening that holds a female USB port cable (the other end is a male USB). The cable is included. You plug the male end of the cable into a battery pack, which tucks into an internal compartment, and you can then charge your phone without opening the backpack. The cable is removable (I guess for cleaning), but you can also probably use it for wired earphones with the USB cable out of the way.The bag is a good size -- not too big, not too small. Also, because it is structured and neatly designed, it feels/looks sleak and small, but still holds a nice amount. Overall, I am very happy with this bag, and I highly recommend it.

Not for everyone. Great for biking but not walking if you are small.
I don't like giving 3 stars to something so nice, but the bag needs some caveats. First, I have to admit that I am really picky about my backpacks because I walk to work every day and in all weather. I was pretty excited about this backpack because it was slim but sturdy, and the reviews noted how comfortable it was to carry. On the first day with any backpack, I pare down what I carry dramatically, just to be safe, and with this one, I was really glad I did because it was HEAVY. I did read the weight and the reviews carefully, but I was stunned at how painful I found the bag within the first 30 minutes. No matter what I did, it did not work well on my small shoulders when I stood straight up. It made for a challenging two miles! On a positive note, I tried it on my bike, and it was much more comfortable. Based on that, it seems to be made either for a bigger frame or for being slightly hunched forward. I should also note that it appears to be extremely well made and looks really sleek. I would definitely recommend it for someone who can bear the weight because it is so sturdy and attractive. (For context, I am around 5'5" and have an average build with small shoulders.)

Well built but heavy
This is a well built backpack will lots of good sized pockets and water resistance. What I wasn't expecting though is how heavy it is without putting anything else inside it. I took it with me to a 3 day convention and 2 hours in my shoulders and back were screaming at me. I had to switch to a simpler, yet lighter backpack in order to ease my pain. All I had in my backpack was a few notebooks, pens, and a water bottle on the side. I shudder to think of how much agony I would have been if I had packed my laptop as well.

Very Durable!
This bag is great, I was hesitant because I usually buy name brands but this works just fine! I travel all the time so I needed something comfortable and that can be easily connected to my luggage. My only complaint is that the straps are long and drag on the floor when Iām pulling my shirt suitcase, I have to tuck them. No other issues

Durable, great for traveling
Great bag for commuting. I travel on airplanes weekly and this is a great bag to hold my HP Spectre laptop, IPad, and extra battery pack. The side connection to be able to connect a usb cord to your charger is flimsy, and the plug comes out. It would have been better if this was designer much more sturdy. Overall, I highly recommend this back pack.

Fantastic Traveling Backpack
This is perfect--holds tons, loads of pockets, fits under the seat on the airplane so no stressing about getting stuff stowed. The backstrap makes it so easy to attach to rolling bag--Madison to Atlanta and back, so far so good as far as durability goes.
